I called them based on the glowing reviews here. The tech showed up on the same day in the evening, so I'll give them 2 stars. But he took a look at my refrigerator and said that the cooling system had failed and that it would be better for me to buy a new refrigerator. This was my first ever experience with an appliance issue. Fortunately before placing an order for a new refrigerator, I checked with Whirlpool. They sent along another tech who told me that this was covered under warranty. He replaced the part and it's now working perfectly. I know that I should have called whirlpool first. But these guys have been in this profession for years. He should have advised me better. Charging me a whopping $185 to open up a few screws and giving me bad advice is not what I had expected based on their Google reviews.

He did not have time to repair it that day, so he quickly diagnosed the likely problem and took a picture of the model number to be certain he would have the part when he returned the next day. The following day, he also arrived within the specified window and worked quickly to replace the motor. In another unfortunate turn of events, the motor turned out to be a lemon. While no one wishes to experience this, it is an undeniable fact that it does happen on occasion. I called Paul early the next morning to report our problem and he scheduled a return visit for that afternoon. Despite a medical emergency that interfered with his return, he communicated clearly and promptly with us about his changing schedule and returned to replace the malfunctioning motor at the earliest possible time. We are surprised and grateful for his dedication above and beyond the reasonable expectations of customer service. Our refrigerator is now functioning properly and we are highly satisfied customers.

Paul from Belmont Appliance serviced my Amana refrigerator freezer door. It was off track somehow on one side and the door did not seal causing my freezer contents to defrost. He took time to troubleshoot the problem. He fixed it and also looked at the rest of my refrigerator and gave great maintenance tips. He also gave some tips on my other appliances.
