Our refrigerator and freezer stopped working after 3 years of owning it. We had a 5 year warranty, but when I called LG, they scheduled an appointment which they canceled on the day they were to come out. When I called to reschedule it would be a month before they could come out. We went for a month living out of coolers, becauseLG would disconnect me everytime I called. They would put me on hold, then the phone would disconnect. In tears and so frustrated, I called Allstar Appliance, told them everything that was going on, and Rene got the ball rolling and I had an appointment the next Monday. They came out, quickly figured out what was wrong, but when they talked to LG, they didn’t have the part. It was on back order, so they got on the phone and found the exact part somewhere else, ordered it for me, payed the shipping, and when it arrived at their shop, they tested it there to make sure it was working, brought it out and installed it. They will be the only place I ever call for appliance repair!! I absolutely love this company and the people that work there! I love them all! ! This is an absolutely terrible company. We have been without a refrigerator for over 4 weeks now, and All-Star has been to our house 3 times to "fix" the issue. Of course, their fix never worked, and they have finally resolved to check the functionality of the sealed system, which they could have checked on their first visit. They determined THAT is the issue, and they do not have the technical capabilities to fix it. We will be dealing with a different company going forward with the hope they are more competent. This work is covered under a home warranty, and we understand that warranty work is geared toward fixing the cheapest item first, but they should have done a proper analysis their first visit. After the second visit, the refrigerator was still not fixed. We called All-Star to let them know, and they said they would call us back later that day to schedule another appointment. After no contact 48 hours later, we had to call the office to inquire, and their response was that they had forgotten about us. The theme is that had we not called them, they would never have returned to fix their work. Do not hire this company, and if a warranty company sends them out, demand someone else. Their technicians do seem like nice and knowledgeable people. They should seek employment elsewhere. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The warranty company sent out a different repair company, who was able to diagnose and fix our refrigerator in the same day. It took another company one visit, which was scheduled 3 days after they were contacted, to fix something that All-Star did not fix over the course of 4 weeks and 3 visits. I normally don't leave reviews, unless the service is really good, or really BAD. I've dealt with this company two times now, and they didn't fix the refrigerator/ice maker, after paying a $125 deductible. I recently paid an additional $125 deductible to repair an oven, and the repair was never made. I highly recommend callling a reputable Company. It should be noted that they changed their name between these two service calls. (Buyer Beware)

I have been working with All Star Appliance for 3 months now. The first time they showed up to my house I told the technician that it was not a fan issue with my refrigerator. He stated that it was and then ordered a part for it. 2 months later I called and asked about my part. They stated they were still waiting on it. I called back a week later and it turns out they lost my part that came in 2 weeks after my initial appointment and were so dis organized that they had no idea the part had been lost. They ordered a new part (fan motor) and came out the next week. The technician came to my house and stated "this is not a fan issue, it is a condenser issue". YOU DONT FREAKING SAY??? I told you this was not a fan issue, the fan had already been replaced. The technician then stated he would order a new condenser and would be out the next week to replace it. Mind you, I have had to take off work to be home twice now for these incompetent technicians to come to my house. 3 weeks goes by, I call the shop to ask about my part. They state they will call me back. I never received a call back and one week later they have ditched my insurance claim and now I am with another repair company. If you are not going through your home warranty, and have a choice to use another company, I would highly recommend it. This was by far the most time consuming experience I have ever had, for my refrigerator to still not work properly. David Schwenk left a similar review, so dont just take it from me. The google review score of "3" should tell you something.

My first service call to fix my broken refrigerator was March 22nd... its now June 9th and we've made absolutely zero progress. Unbelievably poor communication and an astounding lack of professionalism by All Star Appliance Repair. Would not recommend their services to anyone under any circumstances. It appears they're working with home warranty companies to collect diagnostic fee's but have no intention of ever actually providing service. Avoid this company at all costs.
