He arranged to come out a day after, and the pricing was very reasonable. It did not take long before my fridge was working properly again. Outstanding job all around! Nick and his brother were totally professional, did not push additional unneeded services, and methodically diagnosed the problem I had with my refrigerator. A previous technician from another company claimed to have repaired my refrigerator which was freezing food on the non-freezer side. The previous technician did poor work, overcharged, and did not solve the issue. Nick isolated the problem, implemented a solution, and fixed the issue by installing a correctly working damper control to replace the defective one installed by the different technician from another company. My fridge is now cooling and freezing just like it should and my family and I couldn't be happier. Very professional, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. I am going to solicit his work for my microwave as well.

I had the worst experience with this company, I had them come to fix a leak in the back of refrigerator and after he left the fresh food section wasn’t working at all, I called Nick and he told it’s not his fault and he is busy don’t have time to come and check what the problem was, very unprofessional. If you have problems with your refrigerator look somewhere else. Don’t be fooled with the good reviews because I’m sure they are not real. I had to throw all my food away, and now I’m looking to buy a new refrigerator. If I knew what was going to happened I could have lived with the leak and refrigerator still working.

This is the second time I called Philly Appliance Repair. Once for a washer and now for a leaking refrigerator. They are prompt, efficient and reasonably priced. I have had a lot of trouble recently with contractors in the city. I wish they did plumbing and electric! I’m going to stick with them for any appliance issues I have going forward.

Oliver is amazing and was very prompt in replying back to us. He showed up on time explained us what was wrong with the refrigerator and suggested how we can fix it. The work was done under an hour, this company is amazing and very reliable, and Oliver is the best person for it!!!

I would not recommend this company to anyone. Alittle over one month my refrigerator started doing the same thing of not getting cold. The repair person that came to my property, diagnosed the problem and reassured me what the problem were after I asked questions of different parts of the refrigerator and the possibilities. So he advised me that it was a thermostat problem so I went on and replaced the thermostat, cleaned and drained the hose all for shy of $300 and still the same problem. Please people, just revert to a more reliable repair company or just go with your first and trusted inner thought to just save that repair money and get the appliance new. Thank you all for reading and take in consideration my review and not use this company but overall, get a new appliance with a warranty if you can to avoid these shotty repair companies

They took my call right away, and said someone would be out the next day. Oliver arrived promptly and called ahead as expected. After being taken advantage of by Angi's list, I was leary about this one. Although my refrigerator/freezer can be fixed, it would be a very costly repair; new compressor, freon, the works. I appreciate the honest evaluation. Although I have to shop for a replacement, I know what I'm dealing with now. I would recommend them. My only criticism is after reading the other reviews I noticed other clients' appliances could not be repaired, but they were not charged a diagnostic fee. I would have expected the same courtesy, and should not have to request this.
