Bryan was awesome. Arrived on time and professional. Though our fridge was not worthy of repair it gave piece of mind when Bryan showed me what was going on with the fridge and where the problem is. Bryan was informative and helpful. Definitely will use Tager again.

After our fridge went out for about 12 hours it suddenly went back on before the tech arrived. Instead of just saying good for you he kept checking and waited to see if the fridge would go back out. It did and just one day before Christmas he put in a new starter and then because he wasn't comfortable that the starter could be the only problem he installed a new temp gauge. Very reasonable and the tech was extremely courteous.

Mat was very professional, explained work being done, cleaned up after. Refrigerator was freezing up. He defrosted so we could use, then came back to install additional heat unit to keep the frost out.

Outstanding service! Had a refrigerator with chronic problems after warranty. After the initial visit a new issue was discovered requiring an additional visit. I had a control board go bad in a refrigerator. This part is obsolete. I contacted the Repair Shack and the phone was answered by a human. We went over model number and problems I was having. I then went to their website and purchased the repair service for the board. The next morning I got a call to make sure I didn’t have any questions about the repair process or shipping. The communication was great. A week later, when the board had been repaired, the tech called me to tell me what he had done and that the board was functioning as it should. I had a great experience. They saved me a lot of money. My refrigerator is back to normal.

My GE Profile refrigerator icemaker has not worked for about 8-10 years. The icemaker flap would not open. I had two repairmen come in to check it out and was told by the 2nd repairman the control board the problem and GE no longer made or supplied this part. I found The Repair Shack on-line, liked what I read and sent the board in to them to see if it could be repaired. When I called on the status I was told some components had to be ordered and would keep me informed, which they did. Everything checked out but they could not test it since it needed to be connected to the refrigerator icemaker. I received the control board today, connected everything and IT WORKS!!!! A huge THANK YOU to The Repair Shack. They are friendly, very reasonable, knowledgeable and competent.

Beware! If I could give zero stars I would. This company was contracted through our home warranty company (HWA) the gentleman arrived at 9:49 a.m. and left at 10:03 a.m. before even a proper greeting and two steps into our home he asked for our credit card to charge the $100 service fee. HE NEVER TOUCHED THE REFRIGERATOR and no diagnostic exam was completed. He only briefly chatted with us to find out what we had been experiencing. He stated often times the repair for refrigerators exceeds the value of the appliance and in this case it was likely, he would tell the home warranty people it was irreparable. He provided a handwritten invoice. He stated he would do his best to get it processed for us and left. Total time spent 13 min. Cost $100. The home warranty contacted us later that day and stated that the repairman stated based on his diagnostic exam (which he provided with our claim to HWA) the refrigerator was repairable; however it was still under warranty (it is not) and that only LG could repair it. I contacted LG provided the serial number, It is NOT under warranty. For days my family went without a kitchen refrigerator while I spent time trying to get this reversed or to get a response back from the company - nothing! Final decision from HWA - because of the diagnostic exam he submitted with the claim I would have to contract a LG technician to come out (the week before Christmas) and then have them provide a certified letter that it was not repairable in order to get the claim reversed. In what industry can you make $100 every 13 minutes.
