I had hired someone from another company to fix my 20 year refrigerator/freezer; however, the repairmen stated Samsung no longer carries that model and (without looking into it further) stated they no longer have the parts. So I was out money for the visit and now looking at several thousands for a new counter-depth fridge in which I don't have the money for. Luckily, my brother-in-law had referred Patrick. Patrick was absolutely wonderful! He understood my situation and was willing do his best in trying to locate the part but he did say that I would have to get a new fridge if he cannot get the part. He did some research and was able to track down the part. Of course it took several weeks but he kept me in the loop (and it helped that I had a borrowed fridge from family that I kept in the garage). Patrick came through in finding the part and fixed my fridge! He was heaven sent; he is awesome!!! Patrick is nice and good nature. He listens to you. He does good quality work and is very professional. I will definitely use Patrick for all my appliance repairs and I recommend his services!

Our technician, Brittany, was experienced and very knowledgeable. She explained everything in detail after a careful diagnosis of our built-in Kitchen Aid refrigerator. We were told by a previous appliance repair company, sent by our home warranty provider, that it was the compressor which was a misdiagnosis. The company told us that we would have to wait two weeks for a closed-unit technician to come out and inspect the appliance, which would have left us without a fridge for a total of three weeks. Brittany diagnosed the inverter as the issue. AlphaTec ordered the inverter, and Brittany installed it that evening. Our refrigerator is running perfectly saving us thousands. I highly recommend this company.

Jared was very experienced in finding the refrigerator problem. Freezer working, refrigerator wasn't cooling, Jared showed me the problem he found, and explained. Reasonable cost.

Paid $95 for them to show up , remove the freezer trays, shine a flashlight inside the freezer, ask me if I wanted the refrigerator fixed and not provide an evaluation or diagnosis (didn't remove any panels to try to diagnose the problem). Told me just to keep the water turned off (which it already was before calling them).

*************WARNING*************** I called AlphaTek on Friday July 22, 2022 about a clogged drain line on a Frigidaire Side by Side Refrigerator. The refrigerator was giving a "H" error code. They scheduled me for a repair on Tuesday 7/28/2022. The technician arrived around 11:00AM. The technician did not even move the refrigerator, but instead warmed up a steamer and blew out the drain line. Total time in the house was approximately 20 minutes. No parts were needed or replaced. The cost was $180 for labor. I called the office and they informed me that the technician sets their own rates based on the work they do. Assuming that means they get a commission. I called some competitors today and asked about their labor rate. This company is the most expensive. Beware of anyone without set prices. What you pay today someone else may pay less tomorrow depending on what technician comes out. Below: Nice try: you didn’t replace my drain line you blew it out with heated air - so quoting a new one to justify your prices doesn’t work (the Blue Book Value of just the drain line is $244.90...unfortunately there is no attachment option to show this publicly, but I will happily email it to you). I didn’t ask your tech to tighten the door handle, he mentioned after the fact “I tightened your handle for you.” So you do something as a courtesy and try to include that in your labor price? I guess that’s one approach for an upsale. Finally it does matter what time they put on their ticket, they were not here that long and I see you are simply trying to justify the outrageous price and that’s your prerogative. I’m simply warning other potential customers of the experience we had.

Our refrigerator was making funny noises so we called to have it repaired. They sent someone out very quickly, and unfortunately, the compressor was out. They gave us our options and even gave us advice about things to look for if we decide to replace it rather than repair it. The service charge was far less than we expected, and they went above and beyond to help us avoid unnecessary expenses.

Kevin, the service technician was very knowledgeable, personable and timely. I would highly recommend this service company to anyone looking for a dependable and honest company to do business with. Don Fuller the owner also came out with Kevin to assist him in troubleshooting the problem we are having with our ice make in our refrigerator. Don said the issue was a design problem with this refrigerator. They think they solved the issue short term but said there really wasn’t a permanent fix available. Don’s recommendation was not spend any more money on this unit. In my mind, that is an example of how honest this company is.

I appreciated the ability to get a service call scheduled rather quickly but please do your due diligence and understand their service call pricing and potential mileage cost so you are not surprised when time to pay. I was told the service called would be $79 when I scheduled so you can imagine my surprise when it was $129.00 after he arrived! And still, after he left I still didn’t know what was wrong with my refrigerator. He looked at it for less than 5 min and said it would be $1200 and that the compressor was possibly bad and that was it. Said LG’s are notorious for compressor problems. I told him LG had sent confirmation that if compressor was bad, it would be replaced under warranty, I would just have to pay for the labor to have it installed. Still, he wrote nothing on the invoice saying what was wrong. Don and Larry were extremely nice guys but it almost seems that their “cash cow” is doing as many service calls as possible in a day and minimizing actual repairs which would consume their time. Telling customers repairs could get expensive without detailing/documenting what actual repairs are needed is NOT a good business model! To that end, I had another local company out the next day who replaced the compressor under the LG warranty and charged $367.18 (including their service call) to install the compressor. Refrigerator now works like a champ. Bottom line, be clear on what you will be paying and understand in advance what you will be paying for or you my find yourself $130 in the hole (or more) and still wondering about your broken refrigerator! ** Update on 09/16/24 In Fuller’s response to my initial review an apology was issued for an apparent misunderstanding but it states their website clearly states the service call price. So, after having to search for it (not clearly identified, I see where an unenclosed refrigerator service call is $95. Why was I charged $125.00 plus a $4.99 fee. Why did the operator that I scheduled with quote me $79.00 and the operator that I spoke with to discuss this confirmed service charge was once $79 before the receptionist I spoke with left the company and came back? Did you add mileage to my residence as a surprise to the service charge to reach $125.00? If so, what was the mileage cost and why was it not disclosed? Honestly/transparency is truly important in all business transactions!

Jeff was the service technician who worked on my refrigerator. He knew almost immediately what was wrong and was able to correct the problem.
