Finally - an HONEST repair place in Miami! My fridge stopped working, so I went on Google and found Miami Appliance Repair – the good reviews are appropriate. Jimmy sent Reynoldo to diagnose the problem. 20 minutes later, Jimmy called me back and gave me an honest quote and breakdown of what was wrong and what it would cost to fix. He asked me if I was ok with it, then two hours later Reynaldo was back with the parts, and my fridge was back to 100%. Finalmente, ¡un lugar de reparación HONESTO en Miami! I called Miami Appliance Repair and was given an estimated time of arrival. It was a window of 2 hours. Matt came on time and got to work. My refrigerator could not be happier. He fixed it in a reasonable time for a reasonable price and he was very nice! Highly recommend Matt. True professionals!

I called Miami Applianc for a problem with my Refrigerator and spoke to Jimmy. I explained my issues and he took care of it within the day. This kind of service is unheard of, people like Jimmy are Few! Prices are very reasonable. I’m so glad I called!

I recently repaired a GE refrigerator and was helped by Rolando G. The pros: 1. He seemed to know what he was doing. 2. So far, the refrigerator has been repaired. 3. So far, I have no complains about the quality of the job done. The cons: 1. He takes a while to respond and he does not use Whatsapp; prefers regular SMS for sending text and images. 2. He was late for the appointment. 3. He changed one sensor (which I did not see) and one metal tray. He defrosted the refrigerator and fixed a problem with the ventilator on the freezer that was making some noice. He performed some tests on the refrigerator. For this, he charged $425.00 which I found expensive. 4. Invoice was not detailed as to the cost of parts and labor. Overall, Rolando is professional, if he charged less, I would have not doubts hiring him again. I feel his services were expensive for a 2.5 hour job.

I can’t say enough great things about Rolando! Our refrigerator broke down late in the evening, and he went out of his way to come after hours to help us. He was incredibly honest, knowledgeable, and kind, taking the time to explain the issue in detail and offering the best solutions without trying to upsell unnecessary repairs. Rolando was great! He was super knowledgeable, fair, and nice. Those are important qualities I appreciate when I hire for work! Service ok. Prices are predatory. The light blew out in my 22 year old refrigerator. Not sure if light screwed out or unit snapped out. Called for help. $39 to step into my house. Tech fixed the problem. Suggested I have the compressor and bottom of my refrigerator cleaned out, which I thought was a good idea for such an old refrigerator. The bid including labor, light bulb, and cleaning was $259. I expected the tech to remove and clean things. Instead, he used a frigging vacuum cleaner for 5 minutes. They saw me coming a mile away. Berne's Appliance Repair are crooks.

Highly recommend. We had a problem with our refrigerator. Unlike many companies, wthin 2 hours a very friendly technician was at our home. After thorough examination, the problem was diagnosed, but the needed part could not be obtained that late in the day. However the first thing next morning the technician was back wirh the part as promised and the repair was done.

Thorough but charged me a price just to screw in the light bulb and put the cover back around the door. The he adjust the strip to the vegetable bin. He installed the rubber around refrigerator. Just for that minimal job it was close to $300 just to screw in a light bulb. 😮 too expensive!

My freezer stopped working, and the fridge was not as cold as usual. The receptionist was helpful and friendly. She promptly sent a technician who diagnosed the issue as being the compressor. He recommended a new refrigerator as fixing the compressor would be costly. I appreciate his honesty. The owner took the time to explain that the compressor overheated, which caused it to malfunction. I remember we had a power surge the day before, and now I understood what happened. Very happy with their service. Minimal service call charge. Highly recommend this business.

Our office GE Refrigerators "Ice Maker" in the freezer stopped making ice. Matt tested it and needed to be replaced. Ordered part, and when received two days later, came back to install. Even gave suggestions on proper Freezer settings to avoid future problems. Highly recommended!

I phoned Matt due to come by to fix a refrigerator that was blowing hot air through both the freezer & the main compartment. He was very responsive, communicative, and showed up at the time he said he would which was very appreciated. After examining the back of the fridge, he determined the issue could be what amounts to a starter relay / capacitor piece needing to get replaced. He said that the cost was $329 for the job; at that point I wasn't entirely sure how long it would take and what materials he would be using/needing. I'm not a handyman/engineer and needed a functioning fridge so said OK. The work was completed in 30 minutes or less & looked stupidly simple to resolve. After Matt left, I started looking up the piece that was used online and realized it costs less than $50. I was ultimately charged $200+ as a labor cost... which even with a "rush" same-day service is steep. So my review is really to state that yes you will get a job done & done well - but I feel a bit ripped off at a rate that takes advantage of people who may not know better.

Bad Experience!!! I used to recommend this company because they repaired another refrigerator quickly and efficiently. Unfortunately, in September 2024, I hired them to repair a different refrigerator, and the experience was a disaster. The ice maker wasn't working, and the technician said the defrost system was broken. He "repaired" it, but after that, the ice maker still didn't work. He said the evaporator fan motor needed to be replaced; he replaced it, but it didn't fix the ice maker problem either. In November 2024, I requested another technician. The new technician said that everything previously done was unnecessary and that the real problem was the fan motor. They ordered it, but supposedly it was on back order, so I requested that they stop the repair attempts and asked for a refund. I had paid $149.35 and was refunded only $55.05. After this, I called another company, which had to fix not only the damage to the ice maker but also damage caused by the WeFix technicians to the refrigerator, as they cut wires, damaged sensors, and left the interior light out during the failed repair process. I had to pay the other company $1,085 to repair my refrigerator (half of this amount was related to damages caused by WeFix).

The repairman was professional and knowledgeable when fixing my refrigerator. Now my food stays cold and fresh. Thank you for the quick turnaround!

Summing it up in 1 word - HORRIBLE. Ice maker on new refrigerator would not work: . Took 3 weeks to schedule an appointment. . Technician arrived and said it needs a new valve which he did not have in his truck. . Took 3 more weeks to schedule a follow up appointment. . Call on day of service said the scheduled technician had personal issues and would not be able to complete the service. Could I reschedule for a week later. . A week later on day of service, another call saying again that the scheduled technician had personal issues and would not be able fo complete the service. Could I reschedule again for another week later. OMG…!!!!!!!!! . I called the main line and the customer service rep said there is nothing they can do. HORRIBLE….!!!! I’d be fired for this lack of responsibility. Will keep you posted on what happens next (or doesn’t happen next). I’m assuming the ice maker will eventually get fixed but I’d never call this company again for anything.

The technician came to my home with the part never put the ice maker part. Also open a lot of part of the refrigerator and put the refrigerator back together. He left to his car, when he came back, I ask was wrong with my refrigerator and he mention that he spoke to whirlpool and to contact my insurances. Onces, he left he send me an email with the job report, completely lies... he mentioned that mention thigs than never happened and lies. but the most important thing is that he never motions anything that is in the report top me. very disappointment. Also, they were late for more than an 1hr and never call just text.

Albaro arrived on time. Very professional and polite. Our refrigerator was not cooling properly. Albaro determined that the Evaporator fan was not working. He was able to retrieve a new Fan assembly from the Truck and complete the installation. In less than an Hour the job was Accomplished!

Cape Coral, Fl I am angry and upset! I work with a gentleman who has early stage dementia and cannot handle problems on his own. I am only with him until 1:00 each day. I have explained this several times and STILL they do not show up when they say they will and do not communicate. His one year old Whirlpool refrigerator stopped cooling over six weeks ago. After THREE WEEKS, Flamingo put in a new compressor. The refrigerator was then very loud and It cooled for only two days. They now say there must have been a leak and they didn't have the kit to fix it. They were scheduled to come again today between 9:00 and 12:00 and were to call before arriving. It is now after 12:00 and no repairman and not even a call. We have purchased a small refrigerator for him but THIS IS RIDICULOUS!

I left a review 2 weeks ago and the response says you take this seriously, but you haven't contacted me to find out how you can improve your services. Coincidentally, the refrigerator pictured on this site showing it is level is exactly like the one I'm stuck with. Along with all the defects I noted in my review 2 wks ago, now the front panel is warped and separating from the fridge. This is the same fridge your techs have been called to repair on several occasions and have done absolutely nothing. Each time saying it is cosmetic, that's normal for this model, or in the case of the ice maker, this fridge doesn't have an auto shut off and I am supposed to shut off the ice maker, and empty the excess ice manually. Is that what you do with your fridge?
