Had a vist for a refrigerator problem. Always used to use Kevin's Appliance through Decker and Sons. EXCELLENT service, solid workmanship and went the extra mile! THey will definatly be my go-to for appliance repair in the future!

I provided details on a refrigerator repair I needed online. They texted back(my preference) and scheduled an appointment within an hour, for the following week. The next day the texted again, saying they had an opening for the next day. I said I could take it. A hour later, Scott, one of the actual techs, texted and asked to talk. He said that he read over all the details that I provided, and that he could save me time and money. The fridge needed to be replaced. There is a leak that would require a full replace at about $1000 cost. For a 19 yr old fridge. I’m better off with all new. They could have come out, looked and said the same thing, but then charged me. Very cool!!! Very much appreciated guys. You will be on my speed dial for other appliance repairs. Maybe even the next one I think I can do myself.

I’ve been using West End Appliance since 2022 when Joe first came out to work on my refrigerator. I had a hard time finding a company that would come out to repair my Samsung kitchen appliances, as repair shops do not like that brand for some reason. In 2024 Joe did a small repair on my over the stove microwave. (both the refrigerator and microwave are 10+ years old). In March 2025 Joe diagnosed 2 issues on my 15 year old LG front loading washer. This is the first time I’ve had any issues with this washer, which is exceptional given its age. With the washer, Joe gave me the price to do the repairs (replace motor and drain pump). He recommended I buy a new one versus fixing, since the repairs were major. Given the age, and the fact that more issues would likely be popping up in the near future, he thought the best decision was to buy new versus spending several hundred dollars on repairs now, knowing that I might be spending more money in the near future on other issues. I think that shows a lot of honesty and integrity on his part! Everyone I’ve dealt with at West End, including Joe and Brenda, have been nothing but helpful and I feel their pricing is very fair. I highly recommend West End! They are my go to appliance repair service!

Called on Monday evening and Ron came out on Wednesday PM and fixed my oven. Had the part on his truck and was done in under 30 min. I asked him about a problem with my ice maker on my Samsung refrigerator. He said it was part of a class action lawsuit and to contact Samsung to have it fixed. Called Samsung and they are going to fix it at no cost. Ron saved me over $500 by telling me to contact Samsung instead of just fixing it.

I was nervous about how to get my fridge water leaks fixed. I am so glad I used this business to fix my kitchen aid refrigerator! The technician was professional/trustworthy and knowledgeable. He fixed two water leaks that we were experiencing. I am so grateful for his time and expertise. I would definitely recommend this business if you have any fridge or any other type of repair needs.

Unbelievable service on our Samsung side by side refrigerator /freezer. Couldn't get anyone to service our Samsung Refrigerator until I got a hold of Ron. Did a great job, very professional, and very reasonable. I would recommend no one else to work on my appliances, outside of Ron at Cardinal Appliances.

Service: GE French Door Refrigerator Noise/Cooling Issue Cardinal Appliance was fantastic to work with. Ron was very friendly and knowledgeable, and took the time to explain what the issue was and how it was impacting my fridge (and to answer all my follow-up questions). He diagnosed the issue within about 5 minutes (that I had been trying to diagnose, unsuccessfully, for weeks - it was something I had not seen recommended in all my google research), had the parts on hand, and had it fixed in about 20 minutes. His pricing was very reasonable/competitive, and I would 100% recommend him to anyone that has an appliance issue. P.S. he also did not judge me at all for how dirty my fridge was, haha. He was great!

If you have an appliance issue- start by calling Leonard Appliance! Matt is so knowledgable and so helpful. We called with questions about our convertible freezer/refrigerator. Matt asked us some questions over the phone to confirm it was indeed our compressor. Because we have a cheap, off-brand model, it's both pretty impossible to repair as well as not worth repairing. He said he could come out, but that he didn't need to drive to our house to tell us the same thing in person that he could over the phone. I really appreciate his honestly and the efficiency of saving his time and our money. He talked us through the changes and complications with new refrigerators, giving us his time and advice for what to look for in a replacement. Thank you, Leonard Appliance!

Maybe your home appliance is good at other tasks, it was unable to repair the ice maker in my fridge. They have attempted to fix my fridge a total of five times over the course of nearly a month, but without success. Furthermore, they do not even check if the fridge is functioning before leaving the site. Three times, they caused the entire fridge to stop cooling instead of fixing the ice maker. On one occasion, the technician came on a Friday and claimed the fridge was working, but it stopped working again after a few hours.

Came promptly. Efficient- installed ice maker and fixed a problem with a freezer that developed after a move. 100% satisfied and recommended

Our refrigerator went out on Sunday, I called Ron Monday morning and he was at my house in less than three hours. A great business to deal with.

Our fridge quit running when temps were 90+ outside recently. Other companies I called were booking a week out. Ron & his son fit us in the same day, ordered the part we needed and came to install it before another company would even be there to diagnose the problem! They were friendly and wasted no time.

I reached out for a Refridgerator repair and they charged me a service fee of $97 and quoted me $800+ to repair two issues which they were “unsure” of which the problem was. They said if that doesn’t fix it, they’ll go back to the drawing board. I asked if I should reach out to the manufacturer considering the refrigerator is not that old and they said no definitely do not do that. I decided to get another estimate and I did not want to spend that much money on fixing a refrigerator. I called the manufacture, and they confirmed that the part might be covered under warranty and pointed me to a local company in Grand Rapids to come and check it out. That company came out and diagnosed the problem in less than 20 minutes and said it was a drain tube which cost $39 to replace that company is Bigelow appliance and I highly recommend them. Never use Apex. It is highway robbery that they would try and scam somebody like they did to me so beware. Also, not very professional that they attached our emails to this post that did not show a happy client as they suggested.
