I've used Cody's many times and they always do a great job. This experience was no different and I'm sure my refrigerator will be back up and running by the end of the day (will take a while to cool and balance all areas). My baffle assembly had to be replaced because the refrigerator side was now behaving like a freezer. I knew this was one of the possibilities. I was a bit surprised by the price, but it's a pain to get to and it's probably a $300 part to me directly online. I paid $617 for the entire repair. The repair was done and functionally the unit appears to be working properly. My only complaint is that you need to reseal the area where the baffle assembly sits. The tech used silicone which is fine, but I have to say not a great job at keeping it neat and running some straight and even beads at the joints. A messy finger-smear job. Once I noticed it I got some mineral spirits and cleaned it up best I could. It's at the top of the unit in the back corner, but I do want it to look like it did before. If I would have noticed when the tech was still here I would have asked him to please take care of it. So, that's my one star deduction this time. Just a little bit more attention to detail would have been appreciated. No big deal.
