He showed me what the problem was and answered all my many questions in a kindly, straightforward and understandable way. I needed to buy a new refrigerator and he provided advice on the better brands, where to buy them, and what it might cost, and helpfully measured for the dimensions of the new fridge I should get (and avoid). Adam is as terrific as other reviewers have said. He came to help us with a leaking refrigerator, that had to be repaired before we went on vacation. He diagnosed the problem right away and was able to fix it. He dealt well with our home warranty company, and gave us good advice, explaining things thoroughly. He is professional, knows his stuff, is upbeat, and has a tremendous work ethic. We can't say enough good things about our experience.

My refrigerator began to leak water onto the hardwood floors in my kitchen. I frantically started calling local appliance repair services only to be told they were all booking out 5 days or more for repair . . . I knew my wood floors would be damaged if I could not get the leak addressed sooner. When I reached Adam he listened to me carefully and diagnosed what he thought the problem was over the phone. He kindly instructed me where to put towels down overnight to prevent further leaks and said he could be at my house the next day! Adam arrived on time, was extremely professional, and expertly repaired the leak (he was spot-on with his diagnosis). The rate he charged was more than fair, especially for next day service. We all rely on our appliances and when they break, we typically need them to be fixed asap - not in a week! AMC will be the first call I make for appliance issues in the future, and I highly recommend Adam's service to anyone else who needs quality and fairly priced repairs in a timely manner.

Really, I cannot speak highly enough of Ty’s clarity, promptness, and intelligence. Our refrigerator and freezer were down. He came, analyzed the issue, ordered the parts, and returned a few days later to make the repairs. He even fixed the unit’s doors. Great price, super service. Highly recommended.

I highly recommend Durham Appliance Thrift Repairs. Ty is an expert when it comes to refrigerators. A technician from a well-known appliance repair company in the Triangle told us that our refrigerator needed a new motherboard, which would cost around $500, suggesting it might be better to buy a new one. We called Ty to get his opinion, and he found the tiny fuse in the motherboard that was causing the problem and replaced. It was a deep dive into the electronics and mechanics of the refrigerator. We had One Source come out for a warranty call through Lowes and couldn’t be happier! We had issues with our fridge freezing items from day one. Another company came out initially & told us to put things on the top shelf of the fridge that we don’t mind freezing! One Source sent Lee out and in 10 minutes he explained what was wrong with our fridge and the parts he was going to order. Once the parts were in, he had everything replaced in 30 minutes. He was incredibly knowledgeable & professional. I would highly recommend One Source and will definitely use them in the future.

Do not use!!! Unfortunately, we had a terrible experience using this company. We initially called to get our refrigerator fixed. A technician came out and diagnosed the problem and ordered parts. So we were encouraged that the process went smoothly after the install. So we went ahead and paid the tech and he told us our fridge should start cooling by the morning. But unfortunately after the “fix” our refrigerator was not cooling or working. When I called the technician I was told it could be another issue and we could be out more money. To make matters worse it would be a week before they could get to us. I tried to call the main line and asked for a manager but I was directed to a customer service person who said there was nothing they could do except have the tech get back with us and that it was common for something else to be wrong. I asked if I could speak to someone else and he said the only contact he had was a email and he couldn’t share that with me. Ridiculous! Save your money and use someone else. This was probably the worst customer experience I have had.

Would give zero stars if I could. Responsive to the initial call for service. Technician came out and diagnosed the problem. Then no-show for two separate appointments and non-responsive when I contacted again. Refrigerator has been in pieces for over two weeks and no response. Would advise not to use this outfit.

I was looking for a damper assembly for a frigidaire refrigerator and they were the only one that had it. It was less expensive than the one I found online. So, I didn't have to wait. Just went over and picked it up.

T&C responded promptly to a pressing need to repair our failing refrigerator. On Thursday Terry diagnosed the problem; on Friday the office staff ordered the part; and on Sunday they called to schedule the service on Monday. The service was completed and the refrigerator restored to working order, and Terry even adjusted the door so it was properly aligned. I'm very happy with the result.
