Our older counter-depth Kitchen Aid refrigerator / freezer went out on a Friday night. Thought it was a compressor but called ASAP Monday morning, and Jason came Monday afternoon. He diagnosed a fried circuit board and was able to order a replacement to be delivered Tuesday. He came Tuesday and fixed the refrigerator, saving us $2000! 5 stars! We'd use ASAP for any appliance repairs!

Placed a call to Mr Ed regarding an older refrigerator that was freezing food. He promptly returned call, listening to our assessment and rather than coming to diagnose and charge us, he offered a simple suggestion, which we tried and are very pleased to report that it worked!!! It is nice to witness that there are people of integrity, willing to offer help and not strictly money motivated!!! Highly recommend!!

Gene, from Mr. Ed’s, repaired my refrigerator but several weeks later the same problem reoccurred. The owner, Mr. Ed, accompanied Gene and they both worked on it for quite some time. They found a short that wasn’t originally discovered that made repairing it too costly for a 20 year old refrigerator. Mr. Ed, on the spot, wrote me a check for the original repair, minus the Service Call! I found this to be amazing customer service, I highly recommend them for any appliance issues you may be having. Honest, reliable, timely and very friendly!

I had just got home from being on around a month long road trip visiting relatives. My refrigerator water dispenser was no longer working so I call Mr. Eds to schedule service. He asked me to explain what was going on with it and I gave him the symptoms. Mr. Ed asked me what was the make and age of the appliance. And then proceeds to instruct me on exactly how to fix the issue. He also reinforced the fact not to worry your refrigerator is a good one. Per Mr. Eds instruction I was able to take care of the issue myself. I highly recommend this local business. Mr. Ed cares about the customer and is a very honest professional.

Mr. Ed returned my call quickly about a broken refrigerator and diagnosed the problem over the phone. He was super honest and advised us that the cost of a service call plus fixing the compressor would cost almost as much as a new fridge so in our case it wasn't really worth it to repair. I'm very impressed with his service and will definitely call on him again if I need any of my other appliances serviced. Thanks Mr. Ed!

Andre is a gem, he knows what he's doing and gets right down to doing it and with a great personality and pricing to boot. When your fridge quits it's pretty awful but he made it all okay in 24 hours. Couldn't ask for a better experience!

The appliance repair man sent by Appliance Geeks was such a personable individual. He asked me questions and consequently provided me information of what was wrong with my refrigerator. Because he needed to order parts, he was back the next day with the compressor my refrigerator needed and completed repairs. Later on, I called him back because the icemaker was not functioning properly. He gladly came back and evaluated that the water to the icemaker was over pouring. My refrigerator will be functioning properly because of this efficient man.

Tim has been a wonder! He is so pleasant to deal with, professional, knowledgeable, capable…I could go on but you get the idea! He first came to our home to fix a washing machine that was not working properly. I am embarrassed to say the problem was that after returning from a recent trip, the water valves had not been fully turned back on…he moved the dryer to get to the washing machine valves and accidentally dislodged the dryer vent that had not been installed well. No problem, he promptly replaced the dryer vent tubing with a new one. Then he cleaned out the rest of the vent just to be sure no material had gotten into the vent. He jokingly asked if there was anything else…well…our ice machine was not making ice unless we manually swung the lever to the “make ice” position. In 5 minutes he took out the mechanism, adjusted the spring and reinstalled the mechanism. For good measure he put a new light bulb in the freezer section which was actually broken in two and would have been difficult for me to replace! His charge for all this was super reasonable. He could have (and other companies would have) charged 3 times as much! A few weeks later he had to return because my refrigerator was not working right. He replaced the evaporative fan and did a major cleaning job under and around the fridge. I was told that such repairs would cost $300-400 but he only charged about half of that. Sorry this review is so long but…Tim is the best! I very much appreciate people like him who are competent, pleasant to work with, efficient, and have reasonable charges. I just hope he stays around for a long, long time!

There is no one in Albuquerque I would recommend above Marshall Appliance Repair. They are honest, competent, and reliable. Jim got my old refrigerator up and running, having discovered that my previous service person was responsible for what was wrong with it. If you need appliance repair, call Marshall Appliance first.

I put up with an incredible a.ount of abuse and tongue lashings from Ortega's, GE, and Conn's. I have lots ved two months with out a Refrigerator. I have a small cooler which I don't think is humanly possible thanks to these businesses. The worst sales a d service. I plan to report them to the BBB. I will never patronize them again. They sold me two refrigerators that didn't work as new.

I would rate this company a zero if I could..I am a new customer with concerns, I have been waiting for 2 days for a call back from management. I had 3 appliances check for service or replacement parts. Paid up front for a tech to come out too 15 mins to diagnose units. Quoted $450 for a washer repair that was a $30 part and took 30 mins to install?.. Quoted over $200 for my dishwasher drain to be unclogged. This seemed reasonable given what had to be done but when the unit was ran it left water all over the floor. So technically a warranty call at this point since it has been paid in full. But lastly my refrigerator needed a heating probe to stop accumulating ice at the bottom of the freezer. I was asked to pay $184 deposit to order part on top of the initial $45.00 diagnosis charge I already paid. The freezer was not defrosted so the door can close. I was told 2-3 days for part to come in, I called on day 7 (Tuesday) because I had not heard from them. Spoke to 2 ladies in the office that could not tell me if part arrived and would call me back. Another week went by where I did not hear back, so I called to cancel and get refunded. I was told that they can not refund my money and that the part came in the Monday the day before I called. They stated they reached out along with texting me, Apple has numerous devices that connect so a call would not been missed. At this point this company is very unprofessional, do not value their customers and just want to steal you money. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY YOU WILL BE WASTING YOUR MONEY AND YOUR APPLIANCES WILL NOT BE FIXED!!!!!!

Jerry was here on Friday to look at why my refrigerator was leaking water. He knew immediately what the problem was. He needed a part that they obtained over the weekend. He came this morning-Monday and it's fixed. Service is the most prompt I've ever had for a refrigerator problem. Jerry was great. Very friendly and informative.

Their repair tech came to look at my refrigerator. He had difficulty in just removing a plastic panel to access the evaporator. Had to show him how to do it. Then didn't quite get it back in proper place reinstalling it. It was agreed that the unit either had a leak in the refrigeration system or that the refrigerant was bad. I suggested putting on a service valve, pressurizing the system and if no leak charging the system. If there was a leak then repair the leak and charge the system. I was told that they needed to haul my refrigerator to their shop and replace the compressor, condenser and both evaporator units and it would be around $3,000 but I would get a written proposal. That was 2 weeks ago. Nothing. In the meantime I had a professional come out and fix it in place for $350 and in less than 2 hours by doing exactly what I had proposed to Hugo's. Its working like new! I wasted $80 for a service call from Hugo's

My LG refrigerator stopped cooling. Their technicians came out and after looking at it for like 10 minutes told me that I needed a new compressor that would cost 1,250.00 +tax. I declined the service due to the astronomical price and 4 hours after they left the refrigerator started working. It appears that the only problem it had was that coils needed to be cleaned but the technicians quoted work that was not necessary and did not keep the customer's interest in mind when trying to rip them off. Either way I'm out $70 for service call just to be lied to.

Hugo's appliance provided the utmost professionalism and delivered high quality work. Jerry was patient with my questions and gave me confidence that I selected the right company to repair my refrigerator. The receptionist at the office was very easy to work with as well, very polite while also being straight to business. I will definitely use them again if needed.
