Great service and on time. I had issues with two refrigerators in my house one in the kitchen and one in the basement. Both refrigerators were fixed within 24 hours. It was great how fast the parts were ordered and installed the next day. My GE refrigerator when it was under warranty and the technician came out it took three weeks to get the parts. Glad I don’t have to go through that ever again. Jarrell is Very professional and thorough. It was a great experience, i’ll be recommending him to all my family and friends.

In the middle of a week of extreme heat, my refrigerator failed, I called him and he came quickly, his diagnosis was effective and as soon as he got the spare parts he came to repair it. He even followed up on the repair. Very kind. I will contact him again if I have problems with any other appliances.

Excellent skilled and timely service provided. They diagnosed the issue with my washing machine in less than 15 minutes. My washer required a replacement part and they were able to order it on the spot. Washer is now back to normal performance. They also assessed my refrigerator. Everyone was very friendly and easy to work with. We had a little problem with scheduling, but it was not a big deal on my part. Refrigerator is working well.

Jogi was able to order my freezer door very quickly and he called me up 3 days later to let me know it arrived. Edwin was able to install the door within minutes the very next day. After he got the freezer door in he was able to answer any questions I had. Jogi called me back later to see how the refrigerator was doing. I hesitated to post this review because I do not like leaving bad reviews for local small businesses. However, I had a bad experience and I think it’s worth sharing. About 1.5 months ago, I began experiencing issues with my Electrolux refrigerator (I have a large, side by side fridge and freezer unit and the fridge side stopped cooling). I went back and forth with Electrolux for a few weeks regarding warranties and decided to call Mr Appliance. The owner was very courteous and professional and I decided that I did not mind paying out of pocket, since the business seemed great and I could resolve the issue more quickly. A technician arrived the following day and I he arrived on time. He looked at my unit for about ten minutes and informed me of the problem. However, after diagnosing the issue, the tech told me that he was not interested in the job. He cited my hardwood floors and explained that he didn’t want to move my unit out from the wall due to the possibility that my floors would be scratched. He said that I would have to move the appliance myself, or he was leaving. I said that I could not move it myself and he left, making it clear he wasn’t interested in the work (which would have been between 1-1.5k). I called the owner right away and he said that the tech was citing an pass insurance issue where a tech scratched a floor, and the owner again asked that I move the unit myself. I said no way. Why would I spend a large sum of money to hire a professional, and be asked to move the appliance myself? The owner promised to call me back the following day, and he never did. Both the tech and the owner ended up being very unprofessional, and wasted my time. I had another company complete the job (and found out that the unit has wheels on the bottom—something obvious from a basic review of the unit, making the issue about moving the unit and my floors not even a problem). It’s a shame that the owner did not have enough professional curtesy to call me back after the technician wasted my time. I certainly won’t be calling them again for any of my appliance needs moving forward, and I personally caution against using them for a larger job following my recent experience (since they appeared uninterested in professional curtesy, and problem solving, as well as a basic diagnostic of my unit) .

The Appliance Doctor sent a tech out who not only fixed my fridge, but took the time to do some additional maintenance to help prevent any further issues. The service with Advance Appliance is sub-standard. Delay tactics and excuses are very common. Technicians are incompetent and they cannot fix simple tasks without multiple visits and wasting the homeowner time. They have made many attempts to fix my refrigerator and still no ice and freezer not cooling. The fix is to replace the entire refrigerator, and the issue will be closed. However, their motto is to avoid their obligations to save money. When is my refrigerator is going to be replaced. 5 months is enough and it's time to be replaced.
