Im happy to revise a previous review that was not complimentary. We have a refrigerator that came with the house, its IKEA and i understand it’s manufactured by whirlpool. It stopped cooling. Technician came and found the issue quickly, a motor part had become frozen over. He fixed that, cleaned it up, and we have a fridge again. There was no attempt to upcharge or sell unnecessary parts or services. Gave us some good advice how to maintain the appliance. Thank you Mr Appliance for willingness to service an IKEA refrigerator and prompt efficient service call.

Came out to inspect a Samsung refrigerator that had an issue with the fan. Didn’t do any work, just said defrost the refrigerator and it’ll be fine. Two days later same thing. Charged $185 to do nothing and didn’t resolve issue at all

Used Dichristopher a few months ago in my home for refrigerator repair. Was quite satisfied so when the refrigerator at my rental property was in need of preventive maintenance I thought of Dichristopher right away. When I called, the lady who answered the phone could not/would not give me an appointment eventhough I was giving her a week notice. She stated they can't make appointments that far out because she doesn't know where the truck will be. I told her I needed to give my tenants proper notice of service and felt a week was proper. She then asked for the tenants phone number but I was not comfortable giving that information and told her she could confirm with me and I would notify the tenant. She proceeded on to say that if she had a crystal ball she would win the lottery, she doesn't know where the truck will be that day and she doesn't have schedule made up that far in advance and if she did have a crystal ball she wouldn't have to talk to people like me and told me to find someone else and then she hung up on me. I do not feel I was rude to her, only asking for an appointment. I will NOT be calling Dichristopher Appliance Services in the future.

I advised the wife who took my call that my refrigerator was a 2003 model. She set up an appointment for her husband to come out. I am severely disabled and need sufficient rest to function. He called me at 7:45am (which I had not agreed to) to see if it would be ok to come out later. When he came, he REFUSED to wear a mask to protect me against COVID! The visit was terminated Unless you are a die hard Republican, void of any reasoning, do not use this company.

I was very impressed with the care taken by the technician, Rudy, in diagnosing what turned out to be a complex problem with my refrigerator. Rather than try to sell me a bunch of new parts, which he probably could have done, he said he wanted to go back and consult with their senior technician and the refrigerator manufacturer. He later called back and suggested that I try a simple fix myself; simple meaning no disassembly and no tools. I did as he asked and it solved the problem. I happily paid for the service call, which remains open for 30 days in case I need someone to come back. The refrigerator and ice makers are now working the way they are supposed to. I highly recommend this business.

This is a great company. Late Tuesday night before Thanksgiving, I noticed the refrigerator was not cooling. The freezer, however, was ice cold and running. After scrambling with food, I called ARS and left message with service. They called me first thing Wednesday morning to let me down early as possible and said they were totally booked and closed for the holiday weekend. As expected they couldn't get me until Monday. I trust them over others I've tried, so I scheduled it for that next Monday About 90 minutes later they called back and said the could get here at the end of the day. The tech showed up, took it all apart, saw some oddities he hadn't encountered before, consulted with a senior tech, and got me up and running It's 16 years old and on it's last legs probably but we survived the holiday.and so far still good I wholeheartedly recommend this company to anyone in need of appliance repair.
