Tom came out today to look at my LG ice maker in my refrigerator. He assessed the problem quickly and showed me a quick fix. This business for Appliance repair is the best I've found in 2022 to 2023 from the regional areas of San Antonio to New Braunfels and every City In-between like Cibolo where I'm from. Everytime I call I talk to a human being and they are always polite, professional and get me scheduled within 1 day. I mainly dealt with Arnold as the technician who came to fix my LG dryer that had no heat and my LG refrigerator that had an over heating compressor. Arnold patiently and respectively answered all my questions, fixed all the problems perfectly and at an outstanding price. Both appliances are running like new and he used genuine LG replacement parts that are warrantied. Absolutely A++ work all the way around. Does not support certain Whirlpool Refrigerator models with bottom freezers. Very respectful and up front in communication.

Won't work on LG refrigerators.

Called them about a simple top freezer whirlpool refrigerator repair for a tenant. After (1) day, they showed up. Required payment of about $86 BEFORE telling me what was wrong. After I paid them, they stated they could not diagnose problem. Claimed it was intermittent and could be the “controller board”. Said they could not get one for weeks/months because it was on back order and because he wasn’t sure that was the problem, there would be no warranty. 🙄🤬

I needed my refrigerator repaired. Pouring water from behind it. Kouwshik answered the phone, and said his first available appointment would be Wednesday. Around 4:00 p.m. same day, got a phone call from him, He said that he could fit me in. He made it to my house. Once he looked at it, he said the water valve needed to be replaced. Luckily he had the part in his work vehicle, and replaced it in about 20 minutes. $227.33 later, I had a working fridge again. I will call him for future needs.

Tech was here for five minutes, took nothing apart and didn’t accurately diagnose. Appliance is only a few years old but the technician (without looking up any parts or looking at mechanics) stated basically EVERYTHING needed to be replaced for $1200. Well who needs a diagnosis? Obviously if we replace EVERY component a refrigerator would work!? Tech stated he wouldn’t actually take it apart to diagnose unless we contracted them for the $1200 repair. $85 for five minutes of work-must be nice. Update: called manager who informed me the quote is accurate of $1200 and his exact words “it doesn’t matter how much the parts are, we’re charging you that much and we will just adjust the numbers to reflect $1200 to repair. We are going to adjust the labor price and we won’t repair it for less than $1000.” Good to know they’re just trying to make money and will inflate prices and scan people to do it.

I called to have my washing machine, and refrigerator looked at. Gen Tech came out the next day and serviced both appliances. I needed a drainage part for the fridge, which they ordered and installed the following evening. I am extremely satisfied with the workmanship, professionalism of the employees, a reasonable price, but most of all..the company keeping their word on what was needed. My fridge died one morning and I needed someone to fix it after 5 o’clock because of my work schedule. Ken was at my place and ready to go. He diagnosed the problem within 10 minutes. Just a normal guy who knows his business. He explained the issue and told me about options. I decided to buy a new fridge based on his feedback. He gave me a list of brands NOT to buy. This was so helpful.

Technician , Matt, was very nice, courteous and and very polite. He checked the refrigerator out thoroughly and advised me where I need to keep the thermostat levels in order for it to work properly. Linda crosier was helpful in making my appointment and helping me locate the model number which was needed to determine what parts were needed for repairs. We have an LG refrigerator which is one year and 4 months old. It quit cooling both freezer and refrigerator. Since the warranty is only one year, we called a different company who came out, looked at it, and told us the compressor was out and that LG is the worst brand you can buy! So I looked up LG's website and found that there had been a lawsuit against them, already settled, so we couldn't claim under it, but I also found that certain parts of this refrigerator are under a 5-year warranty. Not easy to find on the website, but I found it. I called LG on July 28, a Thursday, and they referred us to Mike's Appliance Service. Mike's appliance service called us the next day, Friday, after we contacted LG, and said they wanted to know info about the refrigerator and what was wrong with it. Also said they could be out Monday, August 1, but could not give us a time frame any better than 8:00 to 5:00. We sent them information that the compressor was out, the condenser (or evaporator) fan was out, along with a photo of the sticker inside the fridge with the model and serial number, etc. On Sunday morning, we got a text from Mike's asking us to call and confirm our August 1 appointment. They're closed on Sunday, but I called anyway and got a recording that said to call during normal business hours. It didn't state what the business hours are, so I had to look it up on Google maps. They are closed Saturday and Sunday, and open from 9:00 to 5:00 Monday through Friday. I called very early on August 1 just to see if I could get through, but got the same recording. I wonder if I don't confirm my appointment, will they be out early today? Doubtful. I'll update this review and perhaps raise the number of stars once we have some interaction about the repair today.
