David was awesome! We had him come out because our fridge was making some weird noises he diagnosed the problem immediately. Fixed it super fast and was very helpful. As he was put in the fridge back he noticed a leak that was coming only on occasion so not something we would have noticed ourselves because of the defrost function of the fridge and he fixed it! Definitely knows his stuff super awesome to work with.

We have an Amana refrigerator that is a couple of decades old and the thermostat was stuck on one setting, which was freezing foods in the fridge. Hayden arrived within the time slot he told us, he communicated clearly and completely about every detail we needed to know. He knew right away that our mother board needed replacing. In a few days, he was back with the part in hand. He installed and reprogrammed it so that now our fridge is running as good as new. We made sure to get his information so we can call on Hayden when we need him in the future. Thank you for a job well done.

With the Cost and wait times of a brand new fridge replacing a 2008 Hotpoint refrigerator just wasn't an option for us...thanks to Hayden "The Appliance Mechanic" we didn't have to! He arrived with the Right part and within and hour (I kid you not) he was done and cleaned up and our fridge back to it's chilled self again... highly recommend ..

My LG Freezer/fridge combo was not working well. I called because I saw good reviews. I don't remember the gentleman I spoke with but he lead me in the correct direction for my warranty and what to watch out for getting my unit serviced or even replaced. Refrigerator was making a loud obnoxious noise when plugged in and struggleing to stay cool. The technician came out promptly on a same day call. He was super cool and genuinely seemed happy to be there. He had excellent communication when explaining my problem and was able to make the repair with haste so I could still make my meeting. I will definitely return for any future repairs I need. Update: Washing machine at my mother in laws went out. Home warranty company sent a company that repaired a locking mechanism. Then said it needed a laundry list of things done still. His conclusion with the home warrenty was ultimately it needed replaced in whole. I wanted a second opinion and had Paul's technician Eliseo come out. Im super glad I did, within seconds of knowing the machine he was able to diagnose one of the problems. He ran it and diagnosed the second problem within minutes. He then had it running within the hour. Certainly will be my first call anytime I have an appliance problem.

2nd Edit: I updated my rating to four stars to reflect the fantastic customer service exhibited by ownership (Tyler) in response to my review. Within 30 minutes of submitting the review, I had a phone call from Tyler, the owner. He has been incredibly responsive. He is immediately sending another technician to resolve and repair the problem at no charge. The technician repaired the problem and my refrigerator is working. I left my original post for context. Original Review: My refrigerator stopped working so naturally I called Paul's. The tech, Matt, came to my house, cleaned the refrigerator (admittedly it was dirty under and around the back), and then reported that the compressor was shot. We discussed whether to replace the refrigerator or not. He suggested that the best course would be to replace because it was older and that in the future some parts might not be available. But, he also said that with a replaced compressor it should last for at least 2-3 years. So, we ordered a compressor. A week later Matt came back to replace it. But, I noted to him that the refrigerator had maintained its temperature in the week since he visited. I asked him given the temperature if the compressor was really the problem. He assured me that it was. We replaced the compressor at a parts and labor cost of $1200. Four days later the refrigerator failed again. Now, according to Matt the coils had failed and it would be another $700-800 to repair the refrigerator. I asked him if, given that the refrigerator maintained the temperature after the first visit, if he had, perhaps, misdiagnosed the problem. He was quite indignant with me and told me that I should have replaced it rather than repaired it. I wanted to discuss further, but he said that he wasn't going to get in an argument with me. He asked if I wanted further repairs and I declined. This technician was rather arrogant from the beginning. I told me wife that there was something off with him after the first visit. Of the three visits, he showed up at the end of the three hour appointment block each time without letting me know that I was last on his list of appointments. I called to complain to management and have not received a return phone call at 1:00 in the afternoon. It's 19 hours later and I have yet to receive a call. Horrible customer service. Horrible demeanor when I suggested misdiagnosis and unwillingness to discuss. I would not recommend Paul's Repair Service to anyone.

I took a video of Eli showing us the problems we have had with our refrigerator freezer. The original factory setting were 5 degrees colder than they should have been. He took us through the processes of setting them correctly and then he spent time to reintroduce us our refrigerator as if it were a new installation. We asked him about renewing the extended warranty and he gave us many reasons why that was a good idea. Thank you Eli

The Repair Pros is the contracted repair company for Samsung. They have attempted to repair my refrigerator 4 times. The technicians are polite, professional and friendly. During the second repair, the technician mentioned the French doors that were uneven, which I informed him they had always been as such, and it was not a deal breaker, as they can easily be leveled using Samsung c-clips. He and I both confirmed the refrigerator was level, left to right and front to back. He said he needed to “tip” the refrigerator slightly towards the back to ensure the drain was working properly, even though it had never been problematic and through his diagnostics, confirmed the drain was working properly. Rather than using both level feet, he used the right leveling foot to “even” the doors, raising only the right corner nearly 3/4”, which also made the unit out of level, left to right. He stated this was ok and would actually be better. The major problem is, he raised the level foot so far that the refrigerator frame became uneven, resulting it very noticeable and uneven gaps between the doors and cooler drawer and the cooler drawer and freezer. The refrigerator failed again within one week so the same tech returned and attempted repairs again. He had to move the refrigerator so the leveling foot was retracted. He never returned the unit to the same uneven position he had during his previous visit, apparently recognizing and knowing what he had done previously. The same technician, Rodney, returned again a week later to attempt to repair the damage done by The Repair Pros, although they deny they did the damage. After working for over an hour to attempt to fix the damage, Rodney stated “Well, your refrigerator got condensation down low and it warped your refrigerator.” Anyone with common sense knows that “condensation” cannot warp a metal refrigerator, nor did The Repair Pros ever state any evidence of condensation and/or freezing issues during any of their previous three visits. More alarming, Rodney and The Repair Pros are claiming that the “condensation” and warping occurred on the exact same day as the visit wherein he incorrectly “leveled” and damaged a refrigerator that was in the exact position that the initial Repair Pros technician had placed it. If you have the ability to choose appliance repair, take this objective experience as cause to find a company different than The Repair Pros. You will also be able to search the Utah Better Business Bureau and Utah Attorneys General, Consumer Affairs Protection websites for official complaints submitted against The Repair Pros, courtesy of me.

I bought a brand new Samsung refrigerator. Only two days after having it it was making an extremely loud humming noise that just would not stop. It was so loud it even woke me up at night. I called Samsung and they gave me the name of The repair pros to do some warranty work. They contacted me within a few days and asked me about what the Fridge was doing. They told me that they believed it needed a certain part and they wanted to order the part so that their repairman could fix the problem the first time he showed up rather than having to come back. Andrew showed up within about 4 to 5 days after they ordered the part. I was not sure whether it could be fixed but Andrew put my mind at ease and seem to know exactly what the problem was. He had it repaired within about 10 minutes and then did a diagnostic on it to make sure that it was good to go. I’m very happy with the service that they provided. The fridge is so quiet now that I can’t even tell it’s running and I can finally get some sleep again at night. I was thinking I would maybe have to get an entirely new fridge but luckily that wasn’t the case. I highly recommend them for any appliance services that you may need I will make sure that I keep them in mind if I need something in the future.

Mike was very efficient. He knew exactly what the ice box needed to get it repaired. He also tighten the handles on the refrigerator’s doors. He was also friendly and courteous.

James was the best technician! He was able to repair our Kitchenaid refrigerator, and he did an excellent job figuring out exactly what was wrong. We originally thought we needed a new computer board and panel, but he was able to fix them by finding the right parts. He saved us a lot of money by not having to replace those larger items, too. He is incredibly professional, courteous and knowledgeable. It’s like we have a new refrigerator again. I would highly recommend this company! A+++ service!!

The fan in the freezer of my 18 yr old Kenmore refrigerator. went out and the next day was quickly and very efficiently replaced by Mr. Appliance. It was very easy to arrange the visit and I was constantly updated as to when the repair person would arrive. I highly recommend this company.

This is a top notch business with amazing customer service. We called them with a refrigerator problem and they came out that same day to assess and were able to determine immediately, from our descriptions, what the problem was. They ordered the part and planned for it to come in late the next day, so told us they'd be out the day after. The part came in earlier and they called and came out a day earlier. Prior to arrival, they send a txt alerting you their technician is on his way, the txt also shows a pic of the technician, so you know who to expect. They follow up with a phone call to make sure someone is home to allow tech in for repair. Customer service is SO great, they empty the fridge of things in their way, do the repair and replace things back in the fridge, WHERE we had them placed. They park on the street so they don't block your driveway access, they place their own mat on the front porch so as not to track debris, mud, etc inside, and they also wear shoe covers in your house.. they were meticulous. Their fee was very reasonable. They let you know prior to scheduling, there will be a charge of, I believe it was $125(?) for the service call. If, after assessing the situation, you choose to have them repair the appliance, the service call fee, is applied to the costs of parts/labor. Their charges seemed very much in line and they warrantee parts/labor for one year. Thank you, Mr. Appliance for your QUICK response and QUICK and efficient repair. Thank you also for your AMAZING customer service; it's very rare, these days, to see such awesome customer service! We WILL RECOMMEND you and you're now on my speed dial. 💞

Spoke with Justin, their service manager, and very disappointed. This company dropped the ball on a part order from Zephyr. One week ago, their technician arrived and said he would order the parts from Zephyr (which are usually shipped overnight). A week has passed and Kimball still is telling me they are waiting for parts (my guess is that they never ordered the parts). Zephyr confirmed they see no further orders on my service ticket from Kimball. Willing to 'deal' with all of this, I expected Kimball to own their mistake and fit me into an appointment tomorrow where Zephyr is overnighting the parts. Instead, Justin said "I'm not doing it," about sending someone out the next day, and told me to call another company. That's not the way to own the mistake your company has made with the parts never being ordered. There was also no communication from Kimball throughout the process. Only my calls prompted any activity (which clearly wasn't much). Seems like a bad company to me. I'd find another. Update: Jan 11 - Thanks Alec. I was surprised by how little value I felt your company had for me as a customer. I know I was asking for more than a standard transaction, but this was after waiting a week with nothing happening. I'm happy to provide any further details you need as you do your investigation. Update Jan 25 - Well, I've been waiting on Alec for two weeks to see what he found, but haven't heard anything. Alec? Update Feb 23 - Still no update from this company or Alec. It's over a month now and they can't even focus on customers enough to give a simple response here as to what happened. Since this timeframe, I've used both Mr. Appliance of SLC (completed the job above) and Appliance Service by Paul (refrigerator issue) for different manufacturer warranty issues, and both have shown better service and customer care than I experienced with Kimball. Again, I'll offer one last time for Alec to let me know what happened after his investigation. Otherwise, I can't help but think the response was just words without action to protect their reviews. Update March 12 - No updates from this company. I'm done with this review, as I think their lack of response says it all. I wouldn't use this company.

$640 to replace a dampener motor. A little pricey, but thats how it goes. They "fixed" my refrigerator on October 20th. It died again in the exact same way on February 13th. No discount, or even a "sorry that happened". Their warranty is 90 days. So basically I paid $640 to have a working refrigerator for 114 days. I do not recommend this business.

EDIT: After the technician arrived, he was apologetic, fast, and respectful of my time. He even asked if the office had notified me beforehand that he was going to be behind. I relayed my concerns to Jerry (the technician) and he promised to relay them to management. So... If I had to rate the technician I'd give him 5 stars, but the company itself will never get my business again. If there were a way to give negative stars I would. NEVER AGAIN. STAY AWAY FROM THESE FRAUDS!!!! My refrigerator went out on Monday, I paid an extra $80 for expedited delivery and service to get the technician out on Wednesday with the part needed. Ten minutes before the appointment window on Wednesday they called to say that the appointment would be pushed back to Thursday because of shipping issues, no apology or explanation, or offer to refund the expedited fee I paid. Now, today, Thursday, my window for service was 10am to 1pm. I had to call to see where the technician was twice. The company didn't bother to reach out to me to let me know that the technician was running an hour late. This resulted in the need to cancel another appointment I had for weeks and pay an $85 cancelation fee. The complete disrespect for my time is unforgivable especially in an economy like this. I am hamstrung into waiting for service because I have pre-paid and been without refrigeration for days. You could not pay me to use this company again. Same day is NOT what they deliver.

It will take 2-3 weeks to complete. Way too long if you need refrigerator to work. Would recommend other repair folks.

Needed our LG home refrigerator and freezer repaired under warranty. It was the evaporator fans assembly. On the 1st visit the tech got the idea of what was wrong, ordered the part and a week after showed up again and swapped it in 15 minutes. Both times he was exactly on time and very respectful. Good job! The fridge started to malfunction exactly one year and 3 days after was purchased, extended warranty came in clutch.

We had our LG refrigerator fail after 3.5 years. The compressor had failed. Called LG & Best Buy and were told it was out of warranty. Called ASI and they responded very quickly. Ryan was on time, knowledgeable, and friendly. He diagnosed the problem and told us the warranty was extended to 5 years. He returned a few days later and replaced the compressor and fixed it in 1 hour. I would highly recommend them.
