We have a large 2-year old refrigerator that has been freezing up. We had a repairman in, which cost us over $300, but it froze up again. This time we called STEVE'S REFRIGERATION. He diagnozed the problem, ordered a needed part, returned, took the refrigeration apart to replace the faulty part & charged us $350. Furthermore, he called back THREE (3) different times to make sure it was working properly. WE WISH WE WOULD HAVE CALLED HIM IN THE 1ST PLACE!

I called Steve on a Friday because when I woke up something smelt hot. I narrowed it down to the refrigerator and noticed it wasn't shutting off. I called Steve around lunchtime and asked if he could look at it. He said he was very busy that day and was all over the place but he'd try to make it. Well I got a call at 5:00 & he asked if he could come over. He took care of my refrigerator, it didn't take long, it was an easy fix, thank goodness! But what got me was he called me on Sunday to see if everything was running fine and if it quit smelling. It was running perfect again! Now that's customer service! I would definitely call him again and would highly recommend Steve!

I had 3 vendors come to my house to work on my refrigerator through my home warranty. Steve was the only one who was prompt, honest, and got the job done. What was a battle for over 4 months with other vendors Steve got resolved in 3 days! He's amazing!

I paid $253.00 for a service call in October 2022. I had an icemaker leaking water on the floor. Steve arrived, pulled out the refrigerator, vacuumed it and said he didn't "see anything". He didn't do anything else, and said to call him if it still leaked. He was there about 40 minutes. I paid him $253.00 in good faith (he did not write up an invoice). It still leaked. He said he would come back and install a new ice maker, charging me more money, I declined and asked him to provide me with a detailed receipt/invoice for the $253.00. He has not given one to me. He later (November 2022) said that he did over charge me and would refund some money to me, this was two months ago! I have been more than patient with this situation without any resolution.

Fred diagnosed our refrigerator issues quickly, promptly scheduled a follow up appointment to install the ordered replacement parts, was very pleasant to deal with and exhibited a high level of professionalism. We highly recommend Derry Appliance Repair; Fred was very responsive and extremely helpful. Our refrigerator/freezer started acting-up over a weekend. Although it was a Sunday, he reached out to me shortly after I left my message and squeezed us into his already full schedule. My refrigerator wasn’t working on a Friday night. I called CAAR the next morning at 8 a.m. Rosevelt , the owner, showed up by 9-930. He did an extensive diagnostic evaluation. He was honest to tell me that I was better off to buy a new refrigerator than have it fixed. I would recommend him highly.

Roosevelt was professional and knowledgeable. He came out for a refrigerator repair was able to diagnose the problem right away. As soon as the parts arrived, he was back at the house and had it up and working.

The technician arrived on time ran and conducted several test, he determined the control board was bad. He order the board, returned two days later and installed it. The refrigerator is running like new. The technician was very professional and explained in detail each step to what he was doing.

Description says they repair refrigerators. I called to get a compressor replaced in a refrigerator. He said they don't do that.

These guys are the best. We discovered out refrigerator wasn’t cooling first thing in the morning. We called and they had a man here before 8:30. He said he hates for peoples refrigerators to go out and lose the food. He discovered the issue and came back later the same day and had it fixed. Great company. Great service minded. Called for a washer repair, they were there in an hour, ordered the part and installed it 2 days later. Great customer service! Even took a look at a refrigerator in my garage that was acting up, which I now will have the fan motor replaced as soon as it is in stock by TriCity, saving me even more money and less appliances in the landfill. Very professional and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend them to anyone in my area.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! I have had nothing but problems since calling MARS to repair my refrigerator last month. They came out a total of 3 times, all of which I had to take time off work for, to replace what they said was a faulty fan in the freezer. This was after their $90 diagnostic test determined what the issue was. 2-3 days after the "repair," the refrigerator started making the same noises it was making before they worked on it. I called them back to let them know what was happening. It took them 3 weeks to come back to my house. For 3 weeks I couldn’t keep food in my refrigerator or freezer. When they finally came back I was told the part they replaced was not the issue, it was a different fan in another part of the appliance. They refused to adjust pricing or offer any help to offset the unneeded “repair” originally made. This is when I realized they had no clue what was actually causing the problem. I won't call anyone out by name, but it is apparent the repair tech sent to my house was incompetent. Either that, or he was intentionally replacing parts that did not need to be replaced in order to charge more. I wouldn’t recommend this company to change a light bulb, much less repair a machine I rely on each day.

We have a side by side fridge/freezer that stopped making ice. I'm a respectively intelligent guy and tried to troubleshoot it myself but wasn't able to. I sent a shout out to folks on Facebook about an appliance repair company and 90% of the folks said "MARS!". Looking at reviews, they were vastly more negative than any company should be. So I figured something is wrong with this and decided to give them a shot. I called Mars and they were able to come out the next day! They troubleshot and discovered the issues and explained all the issues to me and how I could troubleshoot it further when something else happens to fridge. They ordered the needed parts and repaired it within a week and were very courteous despite us having two dogs that love getting in your business and 10 kittens running around all over the place. I will absolutely be calling MARS again if I have any more issues!
