I had another company come out to check my refrigerator, which wasn't getting cold, even though the freezer and ice maker were still working fine. He ended up (2 days later) giving me a very high dollar estimate and named several things that needed to be fixed. (He hadn't even looked at anything, but the inside of the fridge, he said that he called tech support). I wanted a second opinion, since I did not trust that estimate. The service tech, James Anthony, from Berkley came out and actually checked out the fridge and said that it needed a thermostat. The cost was $400 less than the original company. He was very polite and knowledgeable. The repair took only about 30 minutes or so. They called me and let me know when he was on his way, also. I will keep Berkley Appliance number handy for any further appliance repair. I highly recommend them!!

the technician came out said that they would have to check to see if they could “find parts” for my refrigerator ( a year old ) , didn’t hear back. Needed a fridge so I bought a new one. Then two weeks go by and I received a bill in the mail for a service call. When I called to question the charge ( seems strange to charge for a service call that had no follow up ) the owner was rude and insisting on being paid for a service call when the office staff and the technician said that they wouldn’t be able to get the parts to fix this practically new fridge. I can understand paying the service call if they had quoted me a price to be able to fix the fridge and I had declined, or somehow else wasted their time. But it was kind of the other way around. Disappointing, owner continues to harass and send invoices.
