Very professional! He repaired a water leak in our line and our ice maker quickly. I also learned how a refrigerator works (I am a teacher, after all!). He was also very honest....we weren't sure if the ice maker itself would still be operable. Instead of selling a new part to me, he said to wait and see if it started making ice correctly. After the other repairs, it's working now! I would highly recommend CJ Fixit!

Doctor Appliance connected with me promptly when referred by the manufacturer for warranty repairs on my recently purchased Frigidaire refrigerator. We scheduled the next available appointment for the repair, which was several days later. The service technician "Zach" called me when he was close to my home. He arrived at the scheduled time and quickly repaired the problem. He explained that this particular model had a problem with a defrost timer that often would fail. When the new part was installed, the unit began to work properly. The technician explained the time required for the unit to reach stable cool temperatures. He said to call him again if we had further problems, but he expected that the unit would work OK from now on, Very courteous, professional and knowledgeable. I appreciate the help.

Been a great experience from start to finish. I had my refrigerator go down and not cool anymore. I contacted Doctor Appliance and they sent a tech over very quickly. He arrived and introduced himself, tech's name was Tory. Tory diagnosed a bad compressor and said he had one on his van and all the tools to do the repair right then. Was very impressed in how much detail and labor intensive doing something like this was. I asked him questions along the way and he answered everything in deep detail. I could tell he has been doing this awhile and knew what he was doing. After he was finished, he cleaned up everything and moved my unit back. Explained everything he had done, sent me a copy of the invoice and gave me a business card. Unit has been working flawless after he left. I can't thank Doctor Appliance and Tory enough!!! Will use this Company going forward!!

Tried to get a company that works on commercial refrigerators and freezer to work on mine but since I wasn't business they refused. I called Cutting Edge Appliance Repair, he came up diagnosed the problems and repaired. Freezer is working great now.

My one star review concerns a lack of ethics and professionalism. I notice some good reviews and that’s ok, but for us, the technician turned off the refrigerator thermostat and failed to turn it back on, since we have two refrigerators we didn’t notice it until two days later when all the food was spoiled. That’s an honest mistake except for when I called them, they blamed me for not checking earlier and refused to reimburse me for the lost food, and take off the original charge Really? They only would refund me a small portion if I took off a negative review. Better watch them. I’m referring them to tv and newspapers to look into their practices. Who is the customer here? Treat people the way you want to be treated that’s all. I’m now out of a reimbursement and food that I will have to restock because I refused to take away the review.

Repair 3 door refrigerator cooler.

Stay far FAR away from this place! I was told upfront that I would have to pay an $80 fee for diagnosis to be applied for repair and I agreed. The tech came out and "checked" the system and "diagnosed" that I needed the entire system replaced. He said that there was a leak at the reversing valve and the part was $1500. Online the part is actually $23. He said the unit had compressor damage because the pressure on both sides were the same with the compressor turned on. He could NOT have turned on the compressor to check as I had the circuit breaker off at the main panel. He estimated a new unit to cost $10,000 but would get a sales person to contact me. In reality, the problem found by a reputable HVAC company was a leak in a copper tube that just needed to be repaired and then filled with refrigerant. I paid $165 and the unit works fine. I have been asking the company for weeks now for a copy of the "diagnosis" that I paid for and have never received anything. I asked for a full refund and they refuse to contact me back. ***Update***. Well Gerald, seeing as how you have now called me a liar. You are correct about one thing, your service fee was $85, not $80 as I previously stated. I DID attempt to contact your company on multiple occasions, on 4/15, 4/23. 5/3 and 5/12 via email. I email both Noel Granger and John Whitton trying to get a diagnosis as this was what I paid for. I also made telephone calls on 4/15 and 5/3. Would you like copies of the emails and telephone logs? Your tech, Jamal couldn't even get his leak detector functioning properly. He most certainly did claim that it was a reversing valve and then told me that the part alone was $1500 and it wasn't worth fixing our unit and it should just be replaced. I would love to hear how he was able to diagnose a compressor failure with the power turned off at the breaker. I made multiple requests for the "diagnosis" and have still not received anything in writing with tests performed and the diagnosis. If it really was as you tech stated, then why is my unit functioning fine now after a different company made a simple repair and refilled the refrigerant? If your tech, or other individuals in your organization, are dishonest, then so be it. That's what reviews are for; so that other people don't get taken advantage of.

The technician that serviced our Frigidaire refrigerator/freezer was outstanding. On his initial visit, he was unable to repair the appliance as he needed to replace some additional parts. Once the parts were delivered, he arrived as scheduled and replaced the new parts in short order. Should we have to have any additional appliance service, we would not hesitate to use the same company and, more specifically, the same technician.
