I recently used this company to repair my 3 years old Kitchenaide refrigerator. The refrigerator was not cooling and it was icing-up behind the bottom drawer. Marco came out quickly and diagnosed the problem; a part was ordered and installed all rather quickly. He explained to me the reason it happened and what I could do in the future. I had previously used a large national chain repair service twice for the fridge but never again. This company can have all of my business.

My story is a bit strange . . . our refrigerator stopped cooling. After an absolutely HORRENDOUS experience with Sears, I found Appliance Cowboys online and called them. I explained to them that our building requires a certificate of insurance, and Appliance Cowboys had the COI to me in minutes. Sal came out and gave us a diagnosis and a reasonable estimate quickly. We put the repair on pause as we were considering purchasing a new refrigerator since this exact same repair had been done in 2021 (not by Appliance Cowboys). While the repair was "on pause," the refrigerator died completely so our decision was made for us. That is the the reason that we did not use Appliance Cowboys except for the COI and the estimate of repair. My somewhat limited experience with their company was EXTREMELY positive from the helpful people answering the phone to Sal and his manager, Marco, with their quick, professional service and thorough explanations of the necessary repair.

This time around it was our 10 yr old refrigerator, humming and icing up inside the walls. I explained the issue to Mike over the phone and without even coming out yet he mentioned knew which brand refrigerator we had. Very, very impressive and reassurance that he is very knowledgeable when it comes to appliances. Beyond understanding the issue, he scheduled our appointment immediately and arrived on time as scheduled. He went above and beyond…He pulled the unit out carefully from the custom cabinet to avoid damaging them, and he even cleaned the dust from the back of the unit voluntarily to help improve productivity and efficiency. Mike is saved in our preferred vendor contact list and is always the first we call for both our home and investment property repair needs. Recommend 100%!

I thought my refrigerator was dying as it was not completely cooling. I called Mike and he inspected the refrigerator and found that it only needed to be reset by pulling the plug, waiting and then plugging the refrigerator back in. Mike explained why it needed to be reset and he showed me how to tell if the refrigerator was cooling. He also gave other tips such as placing a surge plug with a delayed response so the refrigerator would not turn on immediately when the sudden power outages occur. Mike also looked at my washing machine and said it was working fine and gave tips about the machine. What I really appreciated was a text from Mike the next day asking how the refrigerator was working. Mike will always be the person I call for repairs!

Mike came the next day, after I called him very late at night ( I was expecting a call center , and surprised it was a live person) to fix my whirlpool fridge, he is very knowledgeable about refrigerators and charged a fair price and took the time to explain the issue with my fridge. I will definitely call him if I have any problem with any appliance (he fixes other appliances besides refrigerators)

These guys went above and beyond my expectations. I had a bad experience with another company before I went to MR. Appliance. The owner (Greg) was super helpful and David (“the fixer”) made my refrigerator happy again. He even came out twice when I was worried about the door not shutting properly. They didn’t even charge me for the return trip. I really appreciate how professional the whole process was, too. I received advance notice before someone came to my house, including the name and a picture of the technician, who arrived in a marked company vehicle and wearing a uniform. Made me feel much safer having a stranger in my home.They were also very careful not to do any damage to my floors when moving the heavy appliances around. Now, I know Mr. Appliance (River Oaks) is the only one I will use. And, I’ll happily refer them to my family/friends.

My refrigerator was broken. I requested a service appointment online around 6am. Their online response was fast. By 9am, a technician had been assigned and service call scheduled for 12 noon. Nijat A arrived on time and did quality work. Najit answered all my questions and fully explained what was needed so I could make an informed decision. I would recommend this company for their excellent service and great work ethics.

Honest company and technician, Gio the tech came to house and determined what the issue was wrong on my refrigerator. Was going to order parts, but before he did , he called me the next day and ask me to unplug refrigerator for 24 hours, that it may have just froze over, and if that fixed it, there wouldn't be a need to order parts. That did fix the problem so I only had to pay a $65.00 trip fee. This is the second time i have used them and will continue to call on them for my appliance issues.

If you’re looking for someone to almost fix your appliance, disappear for months, and then blame their wedding for not finishing the job—Alan’s Appliance Repair is perfect for you! It’s been nearly six months since Alan began “repairing” my refrigerator. Six months of back-and-forth nonsense, magical disappearing parts, and a never-ending stream of excuses. First, the parts were ordered. Then they weren’t. Then they were the wrong parts. Then they mysteriously existed again—but wait! Now we’re stuck waiting on a couple of clips for the freezer door (yes, clips!) that apparently take longer to arrive than a custom-built spaceship. And just when you think it can’t get more ridiculous—he blames his wedding. Seriously? I didn’t realize “getting married” was a valid reason to leave a customer hanging for half a year on a half-finished job. Must’ve been one hell of a honeymoon… maybe to wherever those clips are coming from? Bottom line: Alan is unreliable, unresponsive, and unprofessional. He’s great at one thing—wasting your time. If you want your appliance fixed this year, do yourself a favor: call literally anyone else.
