High Point Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Company is reliable and fast when it comes to fridge repairs. They responded quickly and had our commercial fridge up and running in no time. The technicians clearly know their stuff and work efficiently. However, the cost is on the high side — repairs typically range from $500 to $800 per visit, which can be close to 80% of the cost of a new fridge. Unless it’s an urgent situation, it might make more financial sense to invest in a replacement instead of going through a repair.

I spoked with Joshua (owner/supervisor). His technician serviced my walk in cooler for the last two visits. I had my new unit put in 2020 by another company and the compressor failed just recently due to the company’s negligence. It was still under warranty but now is not because their work void the warranty. It cost me about $2300 to replace the compressor. I’m beyond irate. They said the service work would only warranty for 30 days. But I know anything can work beyond the 30 days and fail later because it’s not compatible. Joshua would not take responsibility for his employees negligence. I highly WOULD NOT recommend to any one needing refrigeration service. Call someone else, that’s what he advised me. I called on a Saturday and the answering service told me someone will call back and three days later, no call back. He doesn’t care about your service needs. On a separate note: Yes, you can smell Freon. The owner laughed like it’s not possible. 50 years in business, lol, more like 5 months.

Called company to get our air conditioning unit serviced because it was not as cold as it normally is. Requested them to look over our inside and outside units in order to take care of any other issues that may be affecting the system and also service a 3-door cooler that had been off for a while. The tech refilled the freon/coolant and that everything else was functioning perfectly. Two days later the unit is down for the count; completely this time. Called them back and the tech cleaned the outside unit, saying that it needed a thorough cleaning (apparently he did not see that just a couple of days ago), and advised that everything should be fine from this point forward. 24 hours later, the unit is not functioning at all and we call them in for a third time and get a diagnosis that the compressor outside is no longer functioning on Friday, right before 5. The next entire week we were advised daily that no compressor could be found yet and that they will let us know when they know more. It was only Josh that finally shed some light on the actual issue; we finally found out that there was NEVER an issue with the compressor, it was the pump that removes condensation that was the issue. Synopsis: * Almost two weeks of loss of business, aggravated customers, and stressed staff. * $3,000.00+ is melted/destroyed merchandise. * ~$2,000.00 in motivational lessons from High Point Refrigeration (HPR), to get off our behinds and take care of our issues ourselves instead of trusting a company you have been dealing with for almost 20 years. * According to HPR they are still supposed to be getting back to us regarding a compatible condensation pump. Resolution: * Wet/Dry Vacuum and a Universal Condensation Pump from Harbor Freight for a total expense of $80 purchased and installed by ourselves. * 3-Door Cooler serviced on the first visit has been out since three days after their service of the unit.

Lee's AIR & Refrigerant service is excellent. The price ,installation and service is excellent. They completed our upstairs and downstairs units in One day! His crew are very nice and work hard ! They get the job done right.

Refrigerator was vibrating and producing a lot of noise in the kitchen. Michael knew this was not normal and traced the problem to a quick solution. The refrigerator is now at normal sound volume. All turned out well.

Refrigerator compressor went out before first year. Repair man was very knowledgeable and ordered parts quickly. Came out on time and had it fixed in an hour. Working well now.very pleased with service.

I had ice developing in the freezer section of my new refrigerator, which was covered under a warranty. The person who came was professional, quick to respond, and made the process very easy.

I had my refrigerator quit cooling a few days. I made an appointment with Convenient Appliance and they were able to fit me in their schedule. I was very satisfied with the service and especially with Josh! He was very professional and went above and beyond to get the refrigerator cooling temporarily until the part came in. A couple of days later the part was in and Josh had my refrigerator up and going just like brand new! It's nice to know I now have someone to call when I need appliance repairs. The SEARS service technician, Mr.O. was fantastic. He was pleasant, Knowledgeable, and above all professional. After not being able to use my refrigerator freezer for two months, I am happy with the outcome.

The service tech was nice enough, but the work effort leaves a lot to be desired…he arrived at about 4:30 yesterday and did what we considered a fast fix with the balance of problem left for us to fix/complete. Only because of his late arrival ... he mentioned to completely defrost the issue it would take him 2 to 2 and 1/2 hours. Instead, he defrosted only enough to put the part in and told me to leave the refrigerator unplugged for another day or two. It's full of holiday food... this is the 3rd tech on this issue. The last one completely defrosted the element and ordered the part needed to fix and saved all our food. The lack of completing this job to its fullest is inexcusable. I see the response to call 800-469-xxxx for further assistance ... I called the number and they could not help becuse the ticket was closed. There is no way on earth i'd recommend this warranty by Sears to anyone.

Took time to explain and take care of matters that took place with refrigerator and LG stove. Very efficient on work done on 12-15-23.

Warning. Do not use this company under any circumstances. Called them to repair my refrigerator. Regardless of the make/model, they just job it out to any old local repair guys. A "technician" came out to my house. No uniform identifying the company. Looked at our freezer. Did absolutely nothing. Said he needed to order a part. Charged us $560 for the "service call" and the part and then disappeared. Wont answer calls. This company is a fraud and employs criminals.

Terrible. Sears and Kenmore are both horrible. Purchased a French door Kenmore refrigerator in October 2019. It stopped working December 2022. Sears technician came out and said it was an internal freon leak. Sears says it is no longer covered under the manufacturer warranty. Paid over 2000 dollars for a refrigerator that only lasted 3 years.

I had problem with my refrigerator, not cooling, so I contacted James, he was on time, very professional, fixed the problem. Gave me a week to check if refrigerator is working as it should. And gave me a big discount, which have made my day.
