Steve at texpert saved us! We have a wine cellar with wine that is worth a considerable amount and suddenly one night it stopped cooling! Over the next 10 hours i called and waited to hear from 16-20 companies easily, all the big names and top companies that pull up when you search refrigeration hvac and 24/7 emergency response. Not ONE would take the job nor would they refer me to anyone. I couldn't give the money away, and we were prepared to spend whatever we had to considering the investment. Anyhow, i found texpert and filled out a form late Saturday night and received a call early the next morning and they were able to come the same day (11 am). They were professional, they were courteous and most importantly did the job competently and saved the wine. I can't reccomend them enough and especially if you are in a pinch! Carlos has been super responsive from the beginning of our issues with the refrigerator. He was even able to find the part for our Thermador cooktop that the previous company was unable to find. He has been professional, kept us up to date on the parts and when he would be back for the install. Kevin accompanied him on the last trip and they were both awesome to work with. I had small volumes of water intermittently leaking at the feet of my GE refrigerator/freezer. After googling the symptoms, I believe I found the cause of the problem, but didn't feel comfortable doing the repair myself. I called Uptown Appliance Repair and scheduled an appointment. They texted me advising they were on their way about 15 minutes before they showed up. I discussed the problem and potential causes and repair options with their technician Hector. He acknowledged my concerns and began looking at the refrigerator/freezer. Hector confirmed the problem was a clogged drain (I think the defrost drain?) in the back of the refrigerator which caused the water to overflow into the bottom freezer and eventually onto the floor. He cleaned out the drain, cleaned the ice out of the bottom of the freezer and vacuumed the dust off the components. Hector was very professional and courteous. I would definitely recommend Uptown Appliance Repair to friends and family.

Refrigerator drawers not cooling. The technician was knowledgeable and clearly explained what the problem was and what had to be done to repair it. I was informed, prior to the work being done, what the cost would be and that he would need to get a part from the office and how much time it would take. There were no additional costs. Work was completed in 2 hours, as promised. Would definitely use this company again and would refer others.

I was very impressed by a recent service call from Appliance Repair Expert to check on my broken washing machine. The service technician Joseph is professional and knowledgeable. He quickly found the cause of the problem with my washing machine. And he provided me with several options for repair. Unfortunately, the repair would cost as much as the price of a new one. Due to the age of the washing machine he recommended that I replace it. He also checked the drinking water supply line in my refrigerator for a low flow issue. Was almost giving up on my refrigerator ever working again. On a whim, i stumbled on HPS on Google. Called the guy ( Vadim) at 11 and by 1:00 p.m. as promised he was at my house. Checked the fridge and within 20 minutes he found the problem. Went out to get the parts he needed came and fixed it. Paid $230 for the service. I have a samsung warranty but getting them on the phone for an appointment has been a nightmare. Was happy with my decision to choose a local repairman instead.

They were sent by LG to do a refrigerator repair because our refrigerator was not cooling but the freezer was. They were professional, timely, and there are not enough stars to rate them! They were excellent, amazing, and got our refrigerator cooling again! They replaced the compressor and did an excellent job!

Another professional repair by HPS. This time our refrigerator water and ice maker. The valve broke and Arthur with HPS got the parts ordered up and within a few days had the water and ice maker back up and going!

I scheduled an appointment online and they had availability the next day. They were punctual and kept me informed via text regarding their estimated arrival time. When Maksim came, he found the problem with my refrigerator and told me what was wrong. He didn’t have the part that was broken, but he said he knew having a working refrigerator was important so he would come back the next day. Terrible company! Used this company when my refrigerator went out. Paid $1285.00, guy said it was the compressor. He said he replaced compressor, for weeks water was leaking inside the fridge after he said he replaced compressor the ice maker never work.It cooled for 2 months he came back out and basically said he don’t know what’s wrong with it would contact LG never heard back from him. My food went bad 3 times. This was a 2018 LG brand refrigerator. I ended up just buying a new fridge and got ripped off the $1285 for a compressor when that wasn’t even the problem. He created more problems with the fridge. It leaked water on the inside, didn’t freeze or cool, ice maker stopped working. Big waste of money.

I had the worst experience with these guys. I called them for a simple refrigerator issue. Their tech was 5 hours late, with no updates. i had to keep calling them and asking for updates. When the tech did visit, they said we dont have the quote for you to tell you how much its going to cost. I had to call them again the next day 3 times, before some told me its going to cost you 450$ to fix the issue (1 year old fridge). They said they had to replace entire motor and fan and order the parts which will take 5-7 days. I hired another company, same day service, issue resolved in 30 minutes and 145$. These guys are unprofessional and over-quote.
