Called and made an appointment on the phone with a very nice person, who was very pleasant and knowledgeable. The technician, Paul, texted me shortly before arriving and was there promptly. Started working to take things inside the refrigerator apart in order to isolate the problem, which was quickly diagnosed. A solution was found, a price quoted, and job was completed quickly with a part carried on the vehicle. I was impressed with both the knowledge and expertise of Paul. Would recommend them.

Our refrigerator stopped working on Thursday night. The company we usually use couldn't get there until Tuesday afternoon! Found Appliance Pro online and Luke was at our house by 11:30am on Friday to diagnose the problem & had it fixed the very next day! What a life saver! Will definitely use them in the future! Our seven year old whirlpool refrigerator stopped cooling. I checked everywhere for someone to come take a look these guys answered promptly. The dude and did an assessment and said he would come next day with another person. They gave me between 10:30a-12:30pm and showed up on time. After checking again, they realized the fridge is 7 years old and would cost a lot to fix than to replace. They left without taking a dime. I even offered to give them “something” but they turned it down. WOW, not even the $90 plus service charge I was told? These guys are genuine and I highly recommend them. Now I have to look for a new refrigerator

YA Services and Ohio Express Appliances came and fixed the issue with my fridge. Very friendly gentlemen. I highly recommend them for refrigerator work. I learned they also do HVAC!

I have a Samsung Refrigerator. The ice maker was not working. I googled service companies, and found YA Services - They had good reviews. I called, and was very impressed with the customer service representative. He quickly accessed my need, and scheduled a service tech in just a few hours. The service tech (Yousef) was very professional. He confirmed the problem, and replaced the ice maker within an hour. Because customer service took time to collect information Yousef had the parts needed in his truck. I am very pleased with YA Services, and would absolutely use them again.

My AC unit had a small leak in its refrigerant line, so I called Dor-Mar to come take a look at it. Dor-Mar diagnosed the issue and attempted a fix, re-brazing where the copper refrigerant line attaches to the elbow on the AC unit. The unit worked for a few months, and was then switched off for the winter. During the most recent wave of warm weather, I flipped the unit back on to find that it seems to have lost all of its refrigerant again, due to the refrigerant line freezing after the unit ran for a few hours. I contacted Dor-Mar to ask about this and see if they could take a look at it, and they responded to me saying that this is no longer covered under warranty since it "ran all summer without issues". So between the the initial service call with Dor-Mar and the "fix" that I paid for, I am out $571.59 and back to where I started in July of last year. I would not recommend doing business with this company.

My refrigerator was making a loud buzzing sound. They found the ice maker was making too much ice. Then melting and freezing again. Quick repair. Great guys. Answered all my questions and more. Will definitely use them again if need be.bthr price was great.

I have had an amazing experience using Economic Appliance Service! I have an LG refrigerator that suddenly stopped cooling. When I initially called, the gentleman who I spoke to was kind and sympathetic to my urgent need and was able to squeeze me in on the same day. Mason from Economic Appliance Service was able to come to my home and assess what needed repaired. He was kind, professional, efficient, and repaired my refrigerator. I will definitely call Economic Appliance Service with all future appliance repair needs.

Our refrigerator quit cooling. I called this company and they sent someone out quickly. The technician Tariq was very polite and knowledgeable about our brand and what was needed to repair it. He ordered the parts we needed. It took awhile for the parts to come in, but as soon as they did, Tariq came back and fixed our refrigerator and it's working great. I would recommend this company.

I called, hoping ECO Refrigeration would come quickly to fix my broken refrigerator. Victoria answered my call. I explained to her that our mailing address was London, Ohio but we lived closer to Grove City and Columbus. I thought for sure she would say we were out of the area they serviced but she didn’t. The nicest young man came to fix my refrigerator named Tariq. I couldn’t be more pleased with his ability to solve and fix the problem quickly. My refrigerator works great now!

Tariq was awesome. He was fast and efficient in diagnosing the issue with our Samsung Model: RF26HFENDSR refrigerator, which is that it's better to replace than try to make a fix that won't last. Unfortunately Samsung knows there's an issue with the cooling system on their fridges but fails to issue a recall, despite the fact that there are so many issues there's a class action lawsuit against Samsung. Five other appliance repair services in the Columbus area refuse to work on Samsung refrigerators due to their known design issues that causes these cooling issues. Tariq's summation of the issue and working with our warranty company Choice Home Warranty was so good that we literally got approved for the replacement while Tariq was still there. I will certainly use Eco Refrigeration Repair in the future for any of our refrigeration appliance needs, and will request Tariq because he's super-efficient and professional!

Great service and knowledge regarding our refrigerator

My husband called them for refrigerator repair and paid the $90 for them to come out. The repair person took photos of the back of the refrigerator and said refrigerant was leaking and showed my husband the photos. He was going to give the photos to the 'refrigerant specialist'. After days of no follow up, my husband called back and was told they had no idea what was going on because there were no notes. After finally receiving a call back we were told it would be $1500 for the repair. Obviously we got a second opinion. What we found out was disturbing. THE PHOTOS WERE NOT OF OUR REFRIGERATOR AND THIS IS COMPLETE FRAUD. The refrigerant is not leaking and there is 0 liquid on the floor as in the photo. If you find yourself reading this I hope it is before you are scammed by this company.

These guys are great. My refrigerator/freezer has been a huge challenge! But they keep coming back and working hard to get it right!

He was doing awesome and was taking water filter out of bottom and it repaired to put it back. He adjusted the refrigerator door to be leveled.

I would give zero stars if possible. Whirlpool sent this company out for a ONE MONTH OLD refrigerator I have that is still on warranty that is making a loud strange noise. The tech came out past the time frame Whirlpool gave me, and seemed rushed the entire time. I showed tech a video of the noise the fridge is making, sense it is intermittent and not happening 24/7. He inspected the refrigerator and said nothing was wrong with it, there was nothing he could do about it. He told me these appliances are junk and not made how they used to be. While discussing forward proceedings, he was swinging around his tools and hit the fridge. I realized as he was leaving it was dented now. I called capital city the next day to figure out how to get my fridge fixed and discuss the dent , as the previous day they closed at 5. The person on the line (Karen) was EXTREMELY aggressive and rude immediately in the conversation. I have never had an experience calling a company that was this hostile. They will not get back with me with a resolution about the dent. She said I was lying about the appointment that she was not here for. She also told me that if Whirlpool sent them out again it would be 92 dollars, even though it is in warranty and only a month old. Whirlpool themselves were even confused by this as it is covered under warranty. I am now left with a fridge that is not fixed and actually in worse condition than before they came. After reading other reviews it seems this company is a money grab. They say nothing is wrong when it clearly is, so they can come again and charge you, or wait out your warranty and charge you.

I wasn’t going to say anything, but since you ask…. I scheduled service and the repair man came out about two weeks ago. He was in my house a total of 10-15 minutes . He stated that my problem was some sort of internal board and that it was a discontinued part and there’s nothing he could do to fix it. While that may be true, I paid $100 for a service call and this guy didn’t even run any tests on anything- he barely took the cover off. It doesn’t instill high degree of confidence when they can’t pinpoint the problem and show me what it is. I’m a fairly technical person, and I certainly could follow the logic if he would’ve explained to me in more detail and maybe offered other options. My refrigerator is an $8000 built in refrigerator and it’s only about 15 years old so it’s a little frustrating when you pay somebody basically to drive to my house for nothing.

Do Not Recommend - Their website falsely claims they are “Ohio’s Leader" but I have been in 5 different appliance stores over the last 2 weeks and ALL of their sales associates have told me they would NEVER recommend Capital City Appliance Service. And I agree. We have a 4 year old Frigidaire in which the upper ice maker (3rd time it’s failed) and refrigerator light weren't working . The overall refrigerator/freezer/single icemaker were all functioning properly. Highlights of 4 service visits over a 5 weeks - 1. When my refrigerator and freezer COMPLETELY shut down DURING the 2nd Capital City Appliance service visit (the f1st visit was for an evaluation), the technician (Jerry) refused to contact the manufacturer for assistance. He stated his knowledge was well beyond anyone available at Frigidaire. After his 2nd visit, Jerry left us with a completely non-functioning unit. During his 3rdCapital City Appliance visit, Jerry finally contacted the manufacturer when I mentioned I was unhappy that I had a non-functioning unit now but when he first came to evaluate the unit, it was working with small exceptions. Per my later conversation with Frigidaire, he did contact them but he did not follow up with them as Frigidaire requested. 2. The original plan was to sequentially replace 4 electronic control boards - to determine which board was faulty. We agreed to that plan. During the 4th visit, Jerry (Capital City Appliance technician) refused to return with the 4th control board. He stated it was because questions I asked insulted his technical skills. 3. I reached out to Capital City Appliance's manager (John) and discussed a strategy for a different technician to complete the work/re-evaluate the situation or at least get the unit back up and running as during their first visit; and also to discuss a fee that was fair to both of us in case it could not be returned to its original working order. My style as a customer is typically to be MORE than fair - especially when a small business is involved. I had already paid them $687 for the first 2 control boards which Jerry took with him when they did not return the unit to functioning. John, the Capital City Appliance manager, was to follow up with me after looking through the records. It is 12 days later and he has not reached back out to me, despite me making 3 follow up phone call requests for John to contact me directly to his staff. 4. Frigidaire customer service stated that the control boards were not ordered from Frigidaire. And that if they had been ordered from Frigidaire, they could be returned. John, the Capital City Appliance manager with whom I briefly spoke, said the boards could not be returned. So now I’m wondering if the “non-Frigidaire” parts may have been what caused the unit to shut down completely during the “repair”? I would like to discuss this with Capital City Appliance but John isn't following up as he indicated he would - nor returning my 3 follow up phone calls. The “About Us” story on the Capital City Appliance website says they have been a family owned business since 1968. And that Capital City Appliance has “integrity” now, as they did then. First hand experience has shown otherwise. And I question their “excellence” based on my experience. As a small family owned business, if they want to continue to exist, they have work to do. The arrogance of the Capital City Appliance service technician (specifically Jerry), the use of parts that are not from Frigidaire, and the poor customer service from Capital City Appliance’s manager (John) are not indicative of a “family business” that wants to continue to survive in the central Ohio market. As a result, as many say, Capital City Appliance is deserving of zero stars but I am giving them one. And my next review is on my four year old Frigidaire Professional French Door refrigerator / freezer -which had its third its ice maker problem/ replacement before the entire unit completely shut down during a service visit. It too, will also be given one star!

I have had a repairman at my house 3 times in 2 weeks to fix my refrigerator. Each time the repairman has had to call another colleague to address the problem. It started out as one thing, "if this doesn't work, we will replace this..." so on and so forth. My refrigerator went from not cooling but the freezer working (compressor and fan running) to NOTHING. Nothing works except the light after having "the problem" fixed. Have called multiple times, keep getting the I'll call you back, the board is faulty from distributor etc etc etc. Calls not being answered, "my understanding was you were going to call me".....quit dodging phone calls. Communication is horrible. Do not advertise you can fix something or do something if you can't or don't want to. Don't waste people's time or money. This is 4 days off of work for a service you provide but don't deliever on. This is the "repair" we received.

Be aware! This company is NOT registered with the BBB or Angie’s list! I have had Isaac at my house 3 times in the past 2 weeks to fix my refrigerator. Each time he has had to call another colleague to address the problem. It started out as “I think your freezer just needs thawed out”, "if this doesn't work, then we will replace this..." so on and so forth. My refrigerator went from not cooling down completely but the freezer worked great (compressor and fan running fine) to NOTHING working at all! Nothing works except the light when you open the door! After having "the problem" fixed. We have called multiple times, and keep getting the response of “Manny will call” you back, when we ask for mannys number… we are not allowed to have it. They are giving the typical run around if “the board is faulty from distributor etc etc etc.”, "my understanding was you were going to call me” Communication is horrible. I am now out the cost of the “repairs” and diagnostic fee for something that was never diagnosed in the first place, the food in my fridge and freezer twice, and days of dealing with this company! If I could give them zero stars I would! Ps: I also found out that the address listed on their website is not accurate (that’s a lie too) it’s actually 464 east Main Street Columbus Ohio.

I was referred to Columbus Appliance Repair by a friend on Facebook. My refrigerator stopped getting cold about a day and a half ago. I called them and they were able to get out the next afternoon and fixed it within about an hour and a half. Saved me the hassle and the money of going out and buying a new fridge. I recommend them.
