My refrigerator was freezing everything. 911ServiceToday promptly came out to repair. They thought the initial fix would solve the problem but promised to return free of charge if it did not. The problem return & so did the company. After pulling out lots of ice, they found the problem and fixed—all at no charge as promised. I found them to be very professional and helpful. I fully expected to be buying a replacement refrigerator but I did not have to thanks to their service.

I have used 911 Appliance Repair for several years and their staff is friendly and the technicians are experts in their field. Always so knowledgeable of the problem; whether it has been my refrigerator or dishwasher. The customer service is top notch and I appreciate the technician always being on time or early. I just wish I could take them to the store with me so they could tell me the best appliance to buy so I didn’t need to see them so often.

Great response and repair of a dead freezer on our Sub-zero refrigerator!

Our refrigerator failed. Within 4 hours 911 Service Today was at our home and replaced our compressor. I was very pleased with the quality of the work. This is the second time we used them, and our experience both times was great. I have no hesitation recommending 911 Service Today. In fact, a customer service person has called us twice to verify that everything was working and that we were pleased. Not many companies do this.

Fabulous appliance repair company! From start to finish, they exceeded our expectations. Our ice maker, in our refrigerator, stopped working. They knew exactly what to look for, diagnosed which parts were needed, came back to install them and everything is perfect. The technicians were super nice, neat and preached "leave it better than we found it". The communication with the office was outstanding as well. We've used other appliance repair companies that have come and fumbled around like it was their first day on the job. Not the case with 911.

The icemaker of my very old refrigerator stopped working. Aviv sent me John, with 28 years experience, who checked everything out and explained how much it would cost to replace it. Even though I decided against replacing it, I was very impressed with his knowledge, efficiency and friendliness as he completed the diagnostic.

Our refrigerator is a lemon. We have had Aviv to our house multiple times to fix different issues. This last time, Andrew Gresham came and did an especially good job for us. The issue was partly something we had previously addressed so we were not charged for the service, but he also thoroughly explained what was happening/why and for the first time if feels like our lemon may actually function correctly (for the time being at least). April 7th, 2025-Addition to my review. The freezer in my Thermador refrigerator stop working because the circuit board went. Carl was awesome. He diagnosed the problem, ordered the part, and was back a week later to complete the repair. He was professional, neat, took care of my floors by laying downs blankets and a plastic mat. Will use again if needed. Aviv uses a text communication service to confirm appointment, and keeps you updated on techs arrival so you don't have to wait around all day for your appointment. That's a big deal to me! Had Chad come out to service my Thermador Wall Ovens. He was professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. If I ever need an additional appliance repair I will definitely be using him.

I have a 12 year old side by side refrigerator freezer. It was leaking into the floor and making weird noises. Aviv,s technician solved the problem for me at a fraction of the cost of a new unit. Professional and cost effective service. I highly recommend them.

I have waited to write this review in fear that it might be the kiss of death so I'll knock on wood while I do it. We have a very old, but originally high quality Kitchenaid built in refrigerator. It was actually built in 1998 in Michigan and is a beautiful appliance. A while back we noticed the freezer wasn't getting cold enough to make ice at a rate faster than my wife used it. We had two other repair services look at it, one of which replaced the defrost timer (which did not help) and the second guy said the compressor was shot but he did not have the expertise to replace it even though the part was available. The replacement cost for this refrigerator is about $11,000 and I just had a very difficult time throwing the whole thing away because of one or two parts. I finally called Aviv because they indicated that they have "sealed system" capabilities, which these other outfits did not. Joe came out and ran a couple of tests and diagnosed the problem (NOT the compressor) as needing a new evaporator, heat exchanger, and filter drier. When the parts came in, Aviv called to set up a time (they are very good about communications) and Joe came by and went right to work. I was extremely impressed by his knowledge and work ethic in that he didn't waste any time and got right after what was a pretty difficult operation. Once the fridge had time to catch up the freezer temp was minus 2 degrees. But will keep my fingers crossed still. One final comment to anyone who has bothered to read this: If you have a refrigerator or freezer problem, Aviv is the go to company (and Joe is great) because of their sealed system experience. Don't waste your time and money with the others. Very pleased with their work!

Maytag refrigerator repair.

Very quick repair of my refrigerator. My technician was Andre, Friendly guy and was very resourceful and got the job done in 30 minutes flat. Thank you!

Buyer beware. Do not use this company. Tech (Julian) arrived on schedule to assess replacement of the felt ring in our Samsung dryer and replace a lightbulb in our industrial-size refrigerator. Julian proceeded to “test” the bulb in the refrigerator, which tripped the main breaker to the house power and fried the control panel, rendering us with no working refrigerator and a now costly repair versus a simple lightbulb replacement. Despite daily phone calls since Wednesday, January 22nd, from us to the 843Appliance and promises of a call back by the manager, we have received no calls back, nor any plan for how to repair the Fridge, and no recourse for the spoiled food lost over the weekend. STAY AWAY! Terrible customer service, no guarantees, inexperienced technicians. Julian was our technician and Leonard answered the phone at the office, both said they would handle things and make it right and as of today, (Monday, 1/27) we’ve had no contact from either one.

The worse service ever. Charged us $99 for coming out to take a look at the refrigerator. They came out asking us to defrost our refrigerator and said would come back in 2 or 3 days to diagnose it. After we left everything out for 1 night, the next morning they called saying that it would take a while to order parts and tried to hook us up with another refrigerator they are selling. WTH!!!

Would not recommend this provider. Technician that came out for warranty service was unfamiliar with my refrigerator. Spent less than 10 minutes and didn’t even check. Said he would call manufacturer and get back to me. I called two times for follow up after not hearing back and got the runaround. Called the office and the person answering the phone was rude. She called me back and basically said I was not telling the truth. Appliance still isn’t fixed.

Did absolutely nothing to attempt to repair our 24-month ok’d refrigerator. Wait, they vacuumed some dust. $100!!!!

Terrible service and rude. Supposed to come yesterday and fix my refrigerator...didn’t come, didn’t call. When I called this morning the repairman hung up on me!

Worst company I’ve had to deal with in a long time. The woman who answers the phone is extremely rude and will hang up on you if she doesn’t want to talk to you. They only have one very elderly gentleman who services the appliances and he’s been out of commission for over a month now and they have not contacted me once to reschedule. I have been waiting over 2 months to have my refrigerator fixed. They are useless and shouldn’t be in business.
