Terrible service across the board. I called Hoffman to come out and check our my refrigerator that is acting up. The refrigerator doesn't always stay cold, but is most the time. I told them the thermostat never appears to be accurate so maybe that is the issue. The guy looked at the fridge and said it was working properly for him at the time so there's nothing he can do. I explained it works most the time but will get really warm a couple times a day (to the point all the ice melts). I asked if he could recommend what was wrong but said he couldn't. Anyway, he charged me the service fee and then just tried to sell me a new fridge for $2,000. He did mention I had 30 days to have someone come back out. I recently called back within the 30 days to have someone come out and the person on the helpline said I was outside 30 days. Which I was not since February is a short month and it has only been 29 days since my service. Then she said the technician didn't mark on the invoice he would come back out so there's nothing they could do. I had Hoffman come out with the promise the service charge would be good for 30 days, so they lied about that and gave very minimal effort to fix my refrigerator. Would give less than 1 star if possible. Basically they collected my service fee and tried to sell me a fridge and called it a day.

Used this company for refrigerator repair, seeing the same issues 6 weeks after repair. pretty expensive service, but the quality does not match to price.

Dave Mantle was my service technician. He had responded to a request to fix my refrigerator. He was very knowledgeable, respectful and kind. He explained the Maintenance Agreement (I signed up) then ordered a part for the fridge. He returned in a week, as promised, to install it. He had given me a Senior Discount on the transaction (I am so thankful). Dave was fastidious in his cleanup and then went on his way. Ordered a refrigerator from Hoffman, but when they couldn't deliver when promised, I bought from another company. They only gave me a partial refund.

They have done a lot over the years. AC and heat service and repair. Electrical. Plumbing. Washer and Dryer repair. Refrigerator repair. Installed new main waterline. New thermostats. And always a great job! Now there back...and ready to do another big, and I'm sure great job...replacing both my furnaces. I'll keep you up dated! UPDATE: One of the two furnaces they replaced had a leaking evaporator coil, so they had to replace it also...another successful job! Another tough job started...repairing a sink drain and toilet drain, both made with 100yr old lead pipe. I'll fill you in on results after they finish bring in the pro to do the lead install work (it's truly an art) for the toilet. "Fingers crossed!"
