My Whirlpool refrigerator stopped cooling in the fridge sector completely, and the freezer was cooling very little, so I thought I needed to buy a new refrigerator. I really did not want to spend on a new refrigerator, so I researched online if it was even possible to fix it. Different companies had expensive diagnostic prices, without any guarantees that they would actually be able to fix it. Then, I stumbled upon this company, Tech Service First. They had very good reviews, and most importantly a very reasonable diagnostic price. So I figured I should give this company a try, and in the worst case, I would just end up buying a new fridge. When I called the company, the operator immediately took the phone without any delay or a robot speaking (which happens rarely these days) and we scheduled an appointment for the next day at a time that was convenient for me. Amal the technician came on time, and fully diagnosed my refrigerator, and told me the precise problem. He fixed it on the same day for a very reasonable amount, and I was shocked that we were actually able to fix it for such a good price. He was very professional, and the company gave us a 6-month warranty on their work. I would highly recommend them to my friends or family, and would obviously use them myself in the future.

I got the referral from yelp. When the repairman came out he was very professional. He worked on the fridge for about 6 hours and the next day it did not work. I complained to the management and they were very responsible. The owner brought me a temporary refrigerator and they ordered the correct compressor for the fridge. They were courteous and friendly. The second time they came to fix the fridge it worked. They left the temporary fridge with me for a few days to make sure and then they picked it up after I told them my fridge was working properly. I experienced great customer service and a commitment to get it right :)

The ice maker of our GE refrigerator was making ice intermittently. When the technician arrived, it seemed to be working. However, he dug in and found an obscure problem. He ordered the proper part, replaced it, and the ice maker is working great. The technician was prompt, worked quickly, and the price was quite reasonable.

We have relatively new GE refrigerator that stopped working. Ali and Alex were able to fix it and educated me how to keep it from failing again.

I would highly recommend the service. I called Fuse to fix my Refrigerator Jenn-air. Alex came within a couple of hours of my call and diagnosed the problem. The necessary part was with him in the car, so my food was saved👏. Now the refrigerator is working great! If i can give more than 5 Stars I would.

Came out same day to diagnose a water supply issue on the refrigerator. Needed to order a part which came in 2 days, technician was back the next day to replace the part and its all fixed now. Very reasonable price and great customer service. Highly recommend if you have a refrigerator issue.

This company is very competent, from their reservation staff, to their techs (Koss is very methodical and tenacious) to their billing department. I would recommend them to my friends and family! FYI, just needed help installing a refrigerator and was told that is something they do not do.

Updated to add: The owner of the company called me and was very understanding and apologized for my experience and stated that is not how he does business. They sent an updated invoice which was more reasonable and corrected the technician's behavior. Original Review: I hired this business to take a look at a refrigerator that was not cooling. The technician performed the repair and told me the total was $600 after the fact. He tried to call me twice and claims he waited 30 minutes before making the decision to repair it on his own. In fact he called at 2:16 and again at 2:29. He did not wait 30 minutes and installed the part without authorization. Now I've received an invoice for $600 and there is no distinguished line item showing me the cost of the repair and the cost of the part. This is a sham! Do not use this company.

Avri did an excellent job! He knew exactly what was wrong with my refrigerator! He was so knowledgeable and fixed my refrigerator in no time and was reasonable!! Also he was friendly!! I’ll call Atlas Home Expert next time I need help!!! (ask for Avri!! He’s the best!)

Our experience with Travis County Appliance Repair was awesome. They were easy to schedule, showed up right on time and their cost was reasonable. Their technician, Kevin, was very professional and courteous. He came with the part and promptly fixed the problem which was a noisy Samsung refrigerator that required installation of an auxiliary defrost heating element.

The service is fantastic! Our refrigerator had stopped working. Scheduling was easy. Maggie answered the call. The serviceman, Jacob, could have come out the next business day, but we were leaving for a week. We were scheduled for 10-1 the next Friday. A week later, I called to verify about the next day, and they did have us on the list. About 12:30 on Friday, Jacob called. He had another job nearby to him and asked if we would mind if he finished that job first and came an hour late to our house. I readily agreed, but he took the time on the phone to discuss our problem in detail, and I told him the likely cause. He said that he thought he knew the problem, and he had the necessary parts on his truck. He did arrive at 2 pm and worked very hard for an hour on the refrigerator. He called for authority to replace the defrost heater and thermostat and told me the cost. I agreed, and now our refrigerator (20 years old) works perfectly. My wife and I were both highly impressed by how friendly, efficient and knowledgeable Jacob is. He listens, and he has real expertise. I would use him again for any repair service that he does. We‘ve had many repairmen over the years—including quite a few excellent ones—Jacob is the best of all!

Technician Jacob arrived the same day to repair a leaking refrigerator. He obtained the faulty part and replaced it right away taking time to explain the problem. I'm happy to recommend this company and will use them again.

I wasn't able to use them for a repair (yet), but I had an appointment scheduled VERY quickly with Maggie's help, to look at and repair my sister's Samsung refrigerator. I called back to let her know that I was just overly-worried and that the refrigerator did eventually kick back on. I no longer needed the appointment, and Maggie's response was so genuine and polite. "I'm glad to hear that!" after we both laughed when I said I was overly worried but relieved. She didn't sound the least bit disappointed or upset that they wouldn't yet get my business, and she was happy for me that my refrigerator was working. That was excellent and she was so friendly. I will definitely give them a call again when something breaks.

This team is great! We've had Save My Appliance out a few times this year to service an older built-in fridge. Every visit is prompt, every tech has been courteous and explained in clear, plain English the problem and the expectations for repair. Most importantly, their work is sound and very fairly priced! Very impressed with this team and would recommend them to anyone.

This company is top notch in my book. Had issues with a commercial ice machine. Ran through my trouble shooting that I knew how to do with out much luck. Spoke with Mrs. Lowe at the office to coordinate a tech to come look at our problem. Received a call from Paul to set up a date and time to come look at our issue. Paul sent out Cesar one of their techs the very next morning. Cesar was on time, polite and got right to work to resolving the machines problems. I am very happy with the service and the companies communication overall. I will be recommending to other friends in the area for commercial help with issues with ice machines and refrigeration. I had a refrigerator that wasn't working. I called ABA and they sent a technician out. This kid, literally, stood in my kitchen for 10 minutes admiring my house before telling me to buy a new refrigerator. He did not diagnose anything or give me an estimate for repair. I began searching online for a new fridge, and just happened to pull my fridge away from the wall a little after the technician left. My fridge has been working fine for over 2 months since I pulled it away from the wall a little. I called ABA and asked to speak with someone about the level of service they offered. They said someone would call me back but no one ever did. I ultimately protested the charge with my credit card company, and ABA provided a complete lie of a report, saying they called me and talked to me, they diagnosed the refrigerator as having a bad compressor, etc. Nothing they said to the credit card company was true. But they made sure they collected their $140 for the service call. I would never use this company.

Prompt service. Problem recurred and they sent a very experienced technician, Michael, who thoroughly evaluated the refrigerator and made recommendations. Very pleased with service

Michael did quick, expert work on our refrigerator’s icemaker. Friendly, pleasant fellow who was easy to talk to and explained the work well. The only downside is the price of service being so high, but I figure it would be costly regardless of what company did the service. We will use them again if in a repair situation.

Technicians are knowledgeable and honest. I had them repair my refrigerator back in January and it was perfectly done. Recently had washer repaired too. Todd from ABA is very knowledgeable and helpful (forgot the other tech who worked on my refrigerator) Thank you guys!

I would give zero stars if I could. We had them come out in July to look at our icemaker in our refrigerator that was 16 years old. They said we needed to replace. Makes sense after 16 years. Fast forward to November 3. Our ice maker starts leaking large amounts of water into the ice bin and onto the floor. I call today...sorry we only offer a 90 day warranty. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? My first one lasted 16 years and the one they put in lasted 3 months? I should have read all the HORRIBLE reviews before calling this place. DO NOT USE ABA Appliance Repair!!
