We contracted Doc’s in February of this year to replace a freezer drawer on a refrigerator. The repair person removed the existing freezer drawer and installed the new one as well as the new seal. Upon completion the repair person was left with 2 pieces of plastic “that he didn’t know where they went”. He stated that since the drawer shuts fine it should be okay and if it isn’t to call back and they’ll take care of it. Fast forward a few months and the freezer itself is having major ice buildup along the walls as the seal was not installed properly. After speaking with Doc’s they charged an additional $105 service charge to return and complete the job properly. We purchased the drawer from them as well as paid for the service personnel to replace properly in the first place. They did not do their job properly and instead of fixing it free of charge as they have already been paid for the work, they charged another $105. Unfortunate and extremely unprofessional. I do not recommend. Thank you for your reply. Correct after a few short months of your technician changing the seal, it failed. As you stated it needed an adjustment. I am not exactly sure how a drawer could be “closed, improperly” or how the fridge being “bumped” could affect the seal. But what I do know is that your technician spent all of five minutes “fixing” it. I guess the fridge was just lightly “bumped”…

I had my ice maker repaired, the reason now I only give 3 stars! Number one there was a no show no call after a scheduled appointment and even after I called and left a voicemail no response, only after a second call from me I received a call back. Not getting the part was another issue, but with the issue of getting the parts in general these days I was not that upset about having to wait two month for my ice maker to be fixed. When it came to my bill I was under the impression that the $105 dollars for the diagnostic would be deducted once you have a repair done wich was not the case and that truly upset me, so if you have a appliance serviced you pay the part plus the repair plus the evaluation/diagnostic.
