We called Premier Appliance recently for our ice maker not working. Leroy had an opening the next day and he was prompt, professional, courteous and took his time to correctly diagnose the problem. Instead of telling me the easy most finding- that the circuit board needed to be replaced (as many others might have done) he took the time to reprogram and reboot the circuit board and had us call him the next day to make sure we had ice being made- which we did. He saved us the cost of a new circuit board and that is the hallmark of an honest and knowledgeable professional. This was our second call to Premier for different repairs (both with Leroy) and we wouldn't look anywhere else for any appliance repair work. Deserves a 10 star review.

The technician was great, extremely competent, very professional, and he installed the ice maker very quickly. He knew what he was doing. I couldn't be more pleased with how well he did and with the end result. Excellent job. However, I'm not happy about the cost, $245 plus tax for a 20 minute job, start to finish, and I provided the ice maker and hose, i.e. the cost did not include any parts. I questioned the charge, and he said it was a fixed rate, service and labor. The charge had been quoted to me ahead of time. So no surprise to me and I agreed to it. However, I had expected it to be more complicated and to take longer than 20 minutes. That's equivalent to $735 per hour. I realize there is overhead, transportation, training and other costs included. Also, I guess someone less competent may have taken a lot longer to do the work, but still, it's seems like an overcharge and high to me for 20 minutes of work.
