I needed my refrig fixed ASAP. Using store bought ice for weeks and weeks was a trial. But when I called Mr. Appliance, they came right away (Sears warranty had me waiting for 9 weeks and that was only to check what the problem would be) I will call them for SURE again if I need any appliance fixed. GREAT service.

Our Frigidaire ice maker had been dripping and pooling water into the freezer and onto the floor. I called A-1 and set an appointment within 3 days. A-1 sent a text the day before to confim the appointment and included a picture of the Tech. The technician arrived on time, quickly diagnosed the problem as a frozen drain, he implemented a solution and we were back making fresh ice without any dripping in less than an hour. The fee charged for the service was appropriate and reasonable. We rate A-1 as "all stars"

My experience has not been good. Easy to schedule; however, rep literally did not even open refrigerator to look at inoperative ice maker. He gave us a part number, of which was the wrong one, to order. We had to return part. That cost $130 for an inaccurate "diagnostic". The worst experience has been the payment process. I gave them a credit card when making appointment. Day after appointment. I receive an invoice. I pay invoice through online system using my debit card. I received a transaction confirmation number. A couple of days later I receive an email regarding late payment. I call. No answer. Leave vm with transaction number. A couple days later I receive a vm again saying payment is late. Later I happen to be checking my credit card statement and noticed I was charged again on the card initially left to schedule appointment. I immediately call, no answer. I have since disputed second charge with my credit card company. I called one last time this morning and left vm to speak with a manager. Just as Im finishing writing this a manager called me back. She apologized and did submit refund for duplicate charge. Ive decided to push submit, however, still because Im busy... and it just shouldn't be this hard.

Do not use this company. They came to diagnose a loud noise in our refrigerator, they said they needed to replace the part, after waiting for the part, they came back and found they ordered the wrong part and we had to wait 2 more weeks for the right part. The technician replaced the part, and after he left, the ice maker stopped working and the refrigerator is not cooling efficiently. I called 3 times because they do not return phone calls. I asked for the owner or manager, and the person on the phone told me they could not give me that information. I will never recommend this company to anyone. A decent company should return phone calls, discuss the problem, and make things right. Not avoid the issue.

David came out and got my ice maker working! He was a pleasure to work with. Fixed it instead of just automatically replacing the unit.

Our ice maker was spewing water from the ice dispenser. Michael Q came out and quickly and correctly diagnosed the problem (broken solenoid valve). He ordered the new part and installed it quickly and efficiently. We have ice again. Couldn’t be happier with his work! Thank you Michael.

Mike I think may have good intentions but he's not dependable at all. He promised to fix our ice machine I don't know how many times and yet he never did come thru. I wish he would've kept it real and just told me he's too busy so I could find someone else to repair it. Instead he strung us along for over 2wks promising he would be up to fix it day after day. Maybe Mike needs an assistant to do his scheduling and ordering of parts for him. We're lucky the ice machine didn't burn up while waiting on him, which would've cost us easily $3500 to replace it. That was our experience with him. Others may be different.
