Our experience with Mr. Appliance has been extremely poor. At the least this company has terrible customer service. Based on our experience they are dishonest as well. On December 8, 2021 Ryan from Mr. Appliance came to our home to diagnose a problem with our refrigerator/freezer. It had been beeping and cycling on and off. Ryan told us the problem was some broken wiring on the bottom of the freezer door that was causing the sensor to go off. The repair for that was quoted at $220. The ice maker had also stopped working. It was going to be $352.73 to fix that. I made a quick call to my husband and we decided to fix both. I paid a $300 deposit toward both repairs. Shortly after Ryan left, my husband called back and after further discussion we decided to wait on fixing the ice maker. I called Mr. Appliance, spoke with Clint, canceled that portion of the repair, and was to be credited the $80 difference from our deposit. When Ryan returned late in the afternoon on December 23, to fix the wiring, my husband and I had a Christmas dinner to attend and left our son-in-law home to be here for the repair. When we returned home that night, we found that the refrigerator was making the same noise and cycling just as much, if not more, than before the repair. I called Mr. Appliance the next morning and was told that now that the wiring was fixed Ryan had been able to properly diagnose the problem and the motherboard needed to be replaced--a costly repair that would have refrigerator down a week or more. This was surprising to us, as Ryan had told us the wiring was the problem and had not mentioned that anything else was wrong with the refrigerator. Whether or not the motherboard or something else was bad, or a problem was created during the repair, we won't ever know as the refrigerator died altogether and we had to replace it. Of course we are not happy to have thrown away $220, but lesson learned. Even more frustrating is that--two full months later--we have not been refunded the $80 owed to us for the ice maker repair that was never done. I have repeatedly called and emailed Mr. Appliance about this and have never received a reply, nor has a credit come through on our card. We will never use this company again and warn anyone else considering Mr. Appliance that they are not honest and you may end up with a worse problem than you began with if they attempt a repair.

Great job getting the ice maker repaired. I called several repair shops and none would/could service this model. Mr. Appliance team communicated through well through the parts issues and still got the job done in a reasonable period of time. I was really grateful that Mr. Appliance performance.

Find another company who is honest and treats you with kindness. I had a fridge that needed repaired to get my ice maker and water working. They charged us around $300. The repairman told me it was fixed and left. It was not fixed. The water was still trickling out and the ice machine still broken. I called to have them come back. They told me to go buy my own part and put it in and it will fix it. I did and the water started working again but the ice maker was still broken. Why should I have to buy my own part when I already paid them a lot of money? I asked for a refund for the ice machine still broken and they refused to give me one. I left a bad review and the owner of mr appliance of Lehi/Provo (I called and scheduled with mr appliance of Provo but the invoice was from Lehi one, the owner also has the same name at both places) threatened me if I didn’t take it down saying they didn’t do work for me, which of course they did, just not well. I ended up having a different company fix my broken ice maker for half the cost and they were very kind to me and fixed the problem right away. They also showed me what they did and that indeed it was working. Anyone who will not try to fix a problem for you or make things right for you and make you happy with your purchase is a dishonest company. That’s what happened to me and I hope it doesn’t happen to anyone else. I have never changed my story nor received a refund for not fixing my ice machine.
