The ice maker was flaky. Sloan came and the tech said it needed replacing for many hundreds of dollars. A few days later, on 11/15/22, Sam from Appliance Professional came, made it work with an explanation that perhaps the ice tray had had an issue. He charged $109. In January, the ice maker failed again. On 1/12/23, Sam came back and diagnosed an ice blockage in the air duct for the ice maker. He skillfully dismantled the ice maker and fixed blockage with a steam heater. He mopped up the water on the shelves. He also pointed out there was a $400 upgrade to the fridge (Frigidaire) that would fix the problem. Sam did not charge us anything for the second visit! The icemaker is running fine now. We won’t hesitate to call Appliance Professionals when or next kitchen breakdown occurs.
