Got sent through warranty company to repair ice maker. Told me I was out of luck without even looking at the ice maker!! I opened the ice maker and showed him the problem. He then said the part was unavailable to repair so someone would contact me within 48 hours as to what would happen. After a week I contacted the warranty company to find out that the technician had closed the case and reported repaired after he had done nothing!! Got sent a different technician and could not have been a more different experience than the first technician. The second one troubleshot the problem, didn’t know the answer and called colleagues to ask for advice. He made some recommendations but was upfront that he wasn’t sure if it would fix the problem or not and welcomed calling them back if it was not fixed.

Ice machine has not made a single ice cube since the "fix" repair yesterday. No ice now since for 3 weeks, due to Sears' three postponed service appointments and now this non-fix.

Repairman put in a new icemaker around 11:00 am. He told us we would have ice in about 4 hours. It's 1:22 in the morning and I still don't have ice. What the hell???? Now he has to come back and fix my icemaker again.

Let me just say this whole experience was HORRIBLE! Customer service does not exist with this company. You cannot speak to anyone via phone and your appointments are set for you with no conversation about your availability. Their text messages take you a website to reschedule your appointment but it does not actually reschedule it. The parts to repair the ice maker took 2 months to arrive and after they arrived the repair person came on the original scheduled date and not the rescheduled date. The ticket was closed as work completed when nothing was done. We had to open a new ticket and the date to repair came and went with no repair person arriving or contacting us to setup a new date. They finally came and repaired the ice maker just a few days short of 4 MONTHS without an ice maker.I spoke to the warranty people about the problems we have had, and was told they always have issues with this service. I would never recommend their service to anyone.
