Thank you, Rosanna and Tim. Ice and water both stopped working on my fridge. I was referred to Marshall Appliance by someone I trust because their next available appointment was several weeks out. Not only did they schedule me for less than 5 days from when I called, Rosanna called me 2 days later to see if Tim could come by that day! Tim fixed multiple problems, including a blocked water line and a poorly installed replacement ice maker (I did that!). He showed me what he was doing and even instructed me on how to install an icemaker the next time. The next day I was still not getting ice, despite Tim having confirmed that it was working before he left. Rosanna let me know that Tim's schedule was full but would let him know. I got a call at the end of the day from Tim asking me if he wanted me to come by that day! After some small adjustments the icemaker was working fine. Tim did not charge me for the return trip, even though the issue was not directly related to the repairs he had done the day before. Tim has been a wonder! He is so pleasant to deal with, professional, knowledgeable, capable…I could go on but you get the idea! He first came to our home to fix a washing machine that was not working properly. I am embarrassed to say the problem was that after returning from a recent trip, the water valves had not been fully turned back on…he moved the dryer to get to the washing machine valves and accidentally dislodged the dryer vent that had not been installed well. No problem, he promptly replaced the dryer vent tubing with a new one. Then he cleaned out the rest of the vent just to be sure no material had gotten into the vent. He jokingly asked if there was anything else…well…our ice machine was not making ice unless we manually swung the lever to the “make ice” position. In 5 minutes he took out the mechanism, adjusted the spring and reinstalled the mechanism. For good measure he put a new light bulb in the freezer section which was actually broken in two and would have been difficult for me to replace! His charge for all this was super reasonable. He could have (and other companies would have) charged 3 times as much! A few weeks later he had to return because my refrigerator was not working right. He replaced the evaporative fan and did a major cleaning job under and around the fridge. I was told that such repairs would cost $300-400 but he only charged about half of that. Sorry this review is so long but…Tim is the best! I very much appreciate people like him who are competent, pleasant to work with, efficient, and have reasonable charges. I just hope he stays around for a long, long time!

Our ice maker stopped working. I described the symptoms to the person who answered the phone. She passed that information to the technician. The technician came out and evaluated the ice maker. Said it needed a new pump. I said go ahead and order one. He said no need I brought one with me. Great service.

Ortegas team analyzed and found a solution for my U-line ice maker for substantially less than Dalton’s. The ice maker has never worked so well! *They know what they’re doing!! Very impressed!

Service was performed by Daniel on my refrigerator which had a water leak from the ice maker. He replaced ice maker and adjusted the inlet. The next day we still had a leak from somewhere. We called back and Daniel found the defrost unit was froze up. He cleared and cleaned the coils. Service was prompt and Daniel was very knowledgeable in his trade.

Office answered phone call quickly. I didn’t even have to wait a full week to get an appointment. James, the technician, showed up and immediately knew problem with ice maker. He had a replacement on truck, didn’t have to order parts and make me wait another month. After fixing ice maker he checked all other parts, noticed light bulbs out and offered to replace those. He was quick and courteous. Great experience!
