Best Freezer Repair Companies in Warren, Michigan

So our refrigerator wasn’t cooling, but the bottom freezer was fine. The deli drawer in the fridge was frozen. Called Nickel appliance to check it out. The guy was in the house for less than 5 minutes and said that the problem was a sealed system failure and that I needed to buy a new fridge. I questioned it because the freezer was super cold as well as the deli drawer in the fridge. Replacing a $2500 fridge was not in my list for the day. So the guy left without doing anything but telling me to buy a new fridge. No pleasantries or goodby or anything- just walked out the door. Fine. Whatever. Didn’t charge me anything to come out- so I thought about it for a minute and called another repair service. The new guy was at my house in 10 minutes after diagnosing the problem over the phone. $235 fan replacement and my fridge works good as new. The guy Nickel appliance sent out was unethical, unprofessional, and a complete waste of my time. I would never use Nickel appliance again and I absolutely would not recommend this service.

Our freezer had been acting up, so we called Nick. The technician who came out was professional, direct, and didn’t try to upsell us on costly repairs. He came out quickly and on time. Would recommend.

Nickel Appliance was my 3rd call when my refrigerator and freezer were not getting cold enough but Nickel Appliance should have been my 1st call! The first place I left a voicemail and no call back. The second place picked up the phone and said rudely "please hold". Sat on hold for 6 minutes and then I hung up. Then called Nickel Appliance and they sent Robert out to my house the very next day (Wednesday). Robert was friendly, on time, professional, explained what the issue was and how to fix it but that the part would take 3 to 5 days to come in. My heart sank! Oh no! What will I do with no fridge/freezer for a long holiday weekend!!?!! The next day (Thursday) Nick called me to say the part was in and they could come back out the next day (Friday). As promised, Robert was at my house on Friday and had my refrigerator/freezer fixed in 20 minutes. Thank you Nickel Appliance and Robert!! I will and would recommend Nickel Appliance to anyone needing appliance repair!! The price was very reasonable too!!

Impressed! The owner got someone out to our home same-day. Robert was prompt, precise and professional. He even made a follow-up call to make sure that our fridge is cooling. My wife and I would highly recommend this company!
