We had an excellent experience with Ace Appliance Repair. We opened the freezer in the morning to get something out for dinner. Noticed things were thawing and immediately called for repair. The phone was answered and an appointment made for that very day. Our technician Jason called 20 minutes before arrival and put on a new thermostat. The freezer started right up and we thought all was fixed. The next morning we checked and things were not freezing as they should and we called Ace back and Jason came again that morning to check things out. He could see a frost pattern so thought since the freezer was so full it was just taking a long time to get everything back to temp. We took out the food and put in a bowl of water for testing. The next morning Jason actually called us to check that things were working! Amazing! Well the bowl was not frozen so he came back and could see there was no frost pattern and the freezer was acting like a refrigerator. Long story short, he put the old part back on and gave us our money back. We only paid a service call for three trips out and switching out parts. My family cannot believe the GREAT service we got for this old freezer. We will definitely call them for any future repairs!! Thank you Ace!

Ice maker in whirlpool fridge/freezer was replaced quickly and works great! Technician was very nice and explained process and cost to me upfront so I would know what to expect. Very happy with the service and would use this company again!

I have used ace appliance in the past and have been impressed with their service. This time things are different. I paid a lot of money to have my freezer repaired. Part ordered and installed. However two to three weeks later I have the same problem with my freezer. The service agent came out again. Said he would talk to his manager about what they can do for me. It’s been a few weeks and nothing has happened. .

We've used Ace Appliance based on recommendations from friends. We have appreciated their friendliness and quick service with our washing machine before. However we've recently been disappointed trying to get a fix for our freezer's ice maker. We initially had someone out who told us the unit needed to be replaced. We replaced the unit and it was still not functioning. We set up another service call. The tech, Ryan, was prompt and helpful. He told us to replace the wiring harness but to call within 30 days if that didn't solve the problem and he would come back out without a new service call fee. We replaced the wiring harness and still had no ice. We called back within the 30 day timeframe and were told they would not honor the tech's statement because we had replaced the wiring harness, an extremely simple fix. It could have been a mistake by the tech to tell us to try replacing it ourselves and call back, but we would hope the company would try to make things right for this mistake. My husband has left multiple messages with the voicemail box we were transferred to for a manager, but no one has responded. We had been happy with Ace but will be going elsewhere in the future.

Service number:457916. Repairman came quickly and on time. He was courteous and let me know that the reason my freezer was all froze and condensation....SOMETHING WAS KEEPING IT FROM COMPLETELY SEALING SHUT! I guess I had better stop buying so much food..lol So, it was all my fault but the best thing about it was.... I didn’t have to invest in a new REFRIGERATOR....lol Thank you for your services and I’ll be more careful from now on.

Freezer was leaking water and freezing shut, Ace repaired it and we’re courteous, professional and responsive.

I called Ace because my freezer stopped working. I tried to do what was recommended on Youtube, which was to replace the fan motor, but it didn't work. So, rather than spend a lot more money doing other things, I called Ace. The tech that came out was so super friendly, and I enjoyed chatting with him. He saw that it was the thermostat that was broken, but praised us for the work we did with the fan motor. He fixed the issue in less than an hour after the part got in, and told me a few other things to keep an eye on with this model of freezer. He was very respectful and friendly, and communication on when he would be coming for repair was awesome. Hopefully, my appliances don't suddenly stop working again, but if they do, I will be a repeat customer.

I would recommend Ace Appliance. We had a bad leak with our ice maker in the freezer. The water wouldn't stop running and trying to fill up the ice maker. Ace was able to come out the next day, and arrived even sooner than our appointment time due to a cancellation (and notified of the early arrival). Matt Jr. was our technician, and he was able to quickly find the problem (a faulty pump) and make the repair with a replacement part that was already in stock on the truck. This made the repair quick and painless. The only drawbacks would be in regards to the price. There is the service call cost, and that is to be expected, of course - with a parts repair, the service call was $67.49. However, there was also a separate labor charge of $74.60. So I ended up having the cost of the part ($124.00), a service call charge, and a separate labor charge as well. I understand charging a service call if no parts end up being used, as you're paying for their time to come out and check the problem out, but I don't really get the separate labor charge when already paying for the service call as well. Seems like double-dipping. One other note is that the Ace website has a coupon for 25% off the service call price. The price is listed as $89.99, but only $67.49 with parts repair. This sounds like the 25% would be off of the $67.49 price (as there is no mention of the coupon around the listing of these service call prices), but the $67.49 price is already 25% off of the $89.99 price. So on the coupon it says to mention it to get 25% off the service call, but be aware that the $67.49 already has the 25% off of it. I thought that could have been presented more clearly on the site. Even with the cost, I would still recommend Ace Appliance. We had an unexpected issue, and they were able to fix the problem the very next morning and even had the needed part right on the truck. It was more $$ than I was expecting, but the bottom line is that my issue got fixed, and got fixed in a timely fashion.

Kraig from Ace Appliance came today and repaired our leaking refrigerator/freezer. His professional and knowledgeable manner in which he provided this service was exceptional in all aspects. We will Highly recommend Kraig to anyone needing appliance repair or services.

Thomas diagnosed the problem after a misdiagnosis regarding our freezer and replaced a couple parts, he is very polite and customer service friendly and has many years of experience and knowledge, I would highly recommend Thomas for any freezer or refrigerator repair. Thank you.
