I had another company come out to check my refrigerator, which wasn't getting cold, even though the freezer and ice maker were still working fine. He ended up (2 days later) giving me a very high dollar estimate and named several things that needed to be fixed. (He hadn't even looked at anything, but the inside of the fridge, he said that he called tech support). I wanted a second opinion, since I did not trust that estimate. The service tech, James Anthony, from Berkley came out and actually checked out the fridge and said that it needed a thermostat. The cost was $400 less than the original company. He was very polite and knowledgeable. The repair took only about 30 minutes or so. They called me and let me know when he was on his way, also. I will keep Berkley Appliance number handy for any further appliance repair. I highly recommend them!!

I paid $109 to have them tell me it would cost $1,161.43 to fix my Samsung refrigerator ice maker and valve. I was astounded. He never did tell me exactly what was wrong other than "Samsung bad", or words to that effect. The problem? It needed to be defrosted! It's dispensing ice and water like a champ now. Total cost? $0.00. Trust is everything in this business, and they lost mine.
