Service technician asked what was wrong and said based on my explanation we needed a new evaporator and the fridge was not worth it. He didn’t check anything but the temperature of the freezer which was at zero degrees. Gave me a bill for $100, collected a check and was on his way. All less than 15 minutes.

Worst company I’ve ever dealt with in my life. While repairing our freezer, which had a small water leak and often frosted over, they broke the sealed system chipping the ice away. Broke through a copper pipe. Released all the Freon in to the atmosphere. They never fixed it. No call no showed five times. Left us in a terrible position and broke our 48inch Kenmore Elite $10,000 refrigerator. Left is worse spot. Don’t return calls. Cancel appts. They are evasive and route your call overseas to India. 90 minutes hold times. I tried to have them file an insurance claim and give us some money toward a new unit since they made ours permanently broken and nothing. Don’t answer calls, text, or company chats when we reach out on their appt portal…..We are pursuing legal action. Suing them this week.

Tech opened freezer and somehow was able to diagnose that the cause had gone bad. Took 5 mins to fix part was 150 and he charged $300

We bought our appliances from NFM, in 2018. And got added a protection plan as well for our refrigerator. In 2020 out freezer stop making ice so we counted out protection plan, which is Assurant thru NFM. So they schedule a service with A and E appliance repair. Every time they change a part In my refrigerator, new issues come up one after another. From the 2 nd visit of A-And-E we had complain that our deep freezer lights had stop working. So it’s been over 6 months that they have tried to fix it. Each visit they would come and change the part but it’s still don’t work. Last technician concluded that this refrigerator is not reparable and needs a replacement. So to get the replacement A-and- E needs to send diagnostics report to Assurant. So would assume that a and e would do that automatically. But when I called Assurant on jan 31. That said A And E closed the ticket on Jan 26(on the day of our last service) Bit they did not send a diagnostic report. So because A and e close the ticket assurant can not accept anymore report. So we had to open a new ticket and now I am starting all over again. Schedule a new text to come and diagnose the problem. I am done with Assurant and Aand E. It’s been over a year now and not getting any response from any of the companies.

Your repair person is a very good and friendly person and knows his job very well and knows what he is doing. He took his time and found out what was wrong with the freezer and he told us, and didn't just do the work that was not needed.
