Very thorough work and explanations. Initial diagnostic, scheduled the work, came as scheduled, explained the work as he was going and tested several times before leaving to ensure new compressor was cooling in LG fridge/freezer.

I moved into a new place and found the sub-zero was not holding temp in the freezer. I called these guys and was assured they knew how to work on these. When the owner showed up for the appointment, I pointed out the gasket was ripped and needed replacement. I also said the doors are misaligned (not even at the top) and most likely that contributed to the gasket issue due to doors hitting. His answer was “well they are supposed to be misaligned”. That’s not true of course. He also said you could not adjust the doors gap on the model I have (that’s not true either), So he spent a little time and said, “yes the gaskets needed to replaced”, he would order them and as soon as he got a ship date from Sub Zero, they would call with a follow up appointment. A few days later I got the call, and we set a time. On the day he was to be here he called and said only one gasket had arrived (I was replacing both). He indicated Sub Zero said it would be there later that day and perhaps he could come out later in the day. No follow up. I was leaving town for a few days so disappointed it would not get done so it could “settle” in while I was away. We had scheduled an appointment for the following Monday when I would be home. On my way back into town on Friday I called and asked if we were all set. The answer from his office was yes. On Monday I got a call saying the gasket was still not there. Needles to say not a very satisfied customer. The only positive outcome is he did not give me any resistance in giving me my deposit back. The second company I used ordered the gaskets, replaced them and adjusted the doors so they don’t hit (what caused the gasket to fail in the first place).

My fridge and freezer went out. American Home Shield sent Mr Appliance of Rio Ranch. They came out 4 or 5 times trying to fix the fridge and it would break every time about two days after they fixed it. Finally they had a “senior tech” come look at the fridge. After the “senior tech” looked at it and they “fixed” it again it went out the next day. What is frustrating is this was over about a two month period of time my family had to be without a refrigerator or freezer. Instead of Mr Appliance telling AHS that the fridge was clearly not repairable they just kept trying and trying and it kept breaking and to let it go on for two months is unacceptable. Anyway, AHS wouldn’t do anything for me as long as Mr appliance was trying to fix an unrepairable fridge. So I cancelled AHS cause it’s a waste of money because they don’t do what they claim. I cancelled AHS before the last time Mr Appliance came to “fix” my fridge. So after the fridge went out again the last time I didn’t even bother telling Mr Appliance that it broke again. I couldn’t take it anymore so I ended up just going and buying my own new fridge. What a waste.

Outstanding talent of technician! My chest freezer was properly repaired as it could not be easily replaced.
