Very quick in response, and made appointment same day as a freezer full of food it was needed. I can’t say if it was a good value , no senior discount and felt 100.00 was much to steam the frozen motor fan area, I had a steamer but he’s the professional and I’ve never encountered issue with freezer . But if I have more time, shop around there were cheaper thoughts. But you know you get what you pay for in those instances.

I have a 14 month old Kenmore Fridge/Freezer (read: JUST out of warranty). In mid December the icemaker stopped working. Two Sear technicians came out, did cursory diagnostics and said there was nothing they could do. Oh and they charged $129 for that "diagnostic". I tried another independent company who had no clue, then I called ASP Engineering who I found on Thumbtack. Eugene came out, did a thorough diagnosis, determined that one of the fans was broken (none of the other three techs even checked this), he ordered the part, a week later it was installed and Eugene stayed for half an hour until he was SURE it was working perfectly. Cannot recommend Eugene and ASP highly enough.
