It is such a pleasure when a repair company actually lives up to their service and trade. Ernesto is knowledgeable, friendly, and skilled. He repaired our freezer in no time. Highly recommend Ernesto and Fridge Fix!

Ernesto showed up at the start of appointment window and was able to successfully clear out the frozen and clogged freezer drain. The work was done quickly and professionally and at a fair price. I was dreading having to buy a whole new unit but it's working just fine now.

Sorry, I didn't know you are another company. When I made the following, the website popped out and I believed you are a national chain and this was the headquarters of FridgeFix. We are actually located in Southern California. My apology again. The following is hereby withdrawn: My husband booked a refrigerator maintenance service online from FridgeFix's website Saturday, October 12, 2024 and requested the time and date for the service to be today(Thursday) afternoon. We provided our about-10-year-old refrigerator's brand name and model number, and indicated what we want is mainly to replace the door seals. We then received a confirmation in our email and cell phone message. The confirmation also said, a technician will call us about 30 minutes before his arrival, from 12:00 to 3:00 on the said day. We waited from about 11:30 but got nothing until about 2:30 somebody called hello at our door. It's the technician. That's no big issue, though the technician explained he didn't know we were told to expect a call before he comes. We noticed he virtually carries nothing with him, no tools, no replacement seals... He explained he called us a few times yesterday, but with his caller ID blocked, added he. We then recalled yes we did receive two or three strange calls with caller ID blocked. Why!? Is there any legitimate company’s service person calling his customer with caller ID blocked? How many people pick up a phone call with caller ID blocked nowadays? He explained he needs the SN for the right replacement seals. He then opened the refrigerator and found the information. He made a phone call and found that the parts need to be ordered from the manufacturer. The cost is $540 and an additional $160 for optional freezer door seal. It will be about $1,000, with labor added, not worth for a 10-year-old refrigerator. We said unlikely we will accept it, we rather buy a new one. Then he charged us $85.00 and left. That’s just for coming, finding the SN, checking their inventory, and making a quote. Nothing else. We believe what his calls yesterday with his caller ID blocked is all about is to make it seemingly necessary for himself to physically show up so that he can make the charge. This could be perfectly done through just a couple of phone calls, without blocking the caller ID, of course, just as many honest companies and service people normally do. Smart way to make $85, but you tainted your company’s reputation and yours personal as well!
