Awesome experience! My freezer stopped working. After a bad experience with another company and loosing $150 to learn I was basically scammed, I found comfort in the help I received from Famous Appliance! They were able to get a technician out in the same day! The company was amazing. The initial fee to assess the situation was less than expected and once they did the repair, they removed a portion of the assessment fee which made us feel as if they really care about helping the customer without gouging in price! Taylor came out and assessed the problem, explained what was wrong and what was needed to fix it. After the part was delivered, Luke arrived to install the part and repair my freezer. Both men were professional, courteous, friendly and were able to educate me on how my freezer works and should be working moving forward. I would recommend them to everyone and will definitely be calling this company again with any appliance repair needs in the future.

This company came highly recommended, but we did not have a good experience. The evaporator and compressor on our fridge freezer needed to be replaced. After the work was done the fridge was noisy. We called and the tech that came condescendingly said “compressors are noisy.” It kept getting worse, so we called again. The same tech came out. This time he actually checked things out instead of just dismissing our complaints. He said it was low on coolant and charged the system. It worked great for about 6 months. Knowing it was out of the warranty, we called again. Different tech. Said he thought it was the evaporator in the fridge this time and that he would call back the next day to let us know what they could do. It’s now 2 weeks later. Still waiting.

I noticed that my freezer was not working early in the morning and I called Famous Appliance Service around 7:30 a.m. someone answered and got me scheduled to have Jason Come out that same day! Jason was on time and friendly and got my freezer working within 20 minutes. I would highly recommend Famous Appliance Service.

Rip off ice maker on a LG fridge stoped working. Barron missed the first appointment date and finally came out the following week after I called to reschedule. Then came out opened the freezer door and put a paper clip in a test hole and then told me the ice maker is not working . well gee that is why I called. The cost was $526.£0 I told him I could buy the same fridge at home depot for 1300.00 my wife told Barron to fix it and paid half of the amount . I called a real repair person who came out the next day and actually repaired the ice maker for 125.00 Famous had back ordered the ice maker it was 2 -4 weeks out . very unhappy and I want my money back.

Famous Appliance came and quoted us $750 to replace the circuit board in our fridge/freezer. We had a private appliance tech come and give us a second opinion and he replaced our circuit board for $420. Pretty shady of Famous Appliance to be up charging us that much.
