Update 09/2024 Joseph came and fixed the clogged drain of our built in JennAir refrigerator/freezer! As usual, he is reliable, quick and very polite! Update 1/22/24: Today Joseph came to fix my dryer! He diagnosed the problem immediately, had the part in his truck and fixed it fast and efficiently! Love this company-ALWAYS come when they say, always professional and always reliable! Love love love this company! Update: June 2023 This last week Demetrio and Daniel came out to diagnose my refrigerator! The freezer part had a sheet of ice! They quickly diagnosed it and later quoted me prices for parts and came back out to install! They are honest, efficient, polite and friendly! I love that they are a father son team and that Demetrio is teaching his son Daniel the trade! They actually call and show up when they promise! I highly recommend this company!!!! Joseph came out and fixed my refrigerator very quick! Came same day as called-actually just a few hours after call! Joseph was professional and efficient! Call d to see when was good for me and texted when on his way! Great service-great technician! This is second time I’ve used this company and is now my go-to for repairs!

The icemaker in my Sub Zero freezer failed so I called Appliance Cowboys to replace it. Immediately Joseph ordered the correct part, scheduled an appointment, arrived on time as promised, and had the new icemaker working very quickly. Joseph is friendly, knowledgeable, and always does a wonderful job diagnosing and repairing my appliances. I highly recommend him and Appliance Cowboys, and will definitely call them again.

I cannot say enough great things about the repair visit with Joseph. I woke up this morning to a quiet freezer with its contents thawing! You know it's going to be one of those days. I delivered the bad news to the wife, did some research on who to call. Made a call to Appliance Cowboys, very courteous and knowledgeable, made an appointment the same day. Service person arrived within the appointment window and got to work right away! An hour later my freezer is working again, cleaned up, put back together, kitchen returned to its original condition as if the technician was never there. Also my wife is happy 😁. What more could I ask for? The cost was fair. It wasn't cheap, it wasn't expensive, it was fair for the fast turn around and high quality of service and result. No food was lost. I highly recommend using them again.

Appliance Cowboys was the 4th appliance service to look at my Subzero refrigerator/freezer that wasn’t working. The first company said the 20 year-old appliance couldn’t be fixed. The second company, without any assessment, stated that they would “gut” the refrigerator/freezer and give it all new working parts for an exorbitant cost. The 3rd company pinpointed the problem as a possible one of 3 issues, but after a month of my calling them said they could not find the parts. Appliance cowboys precisely diagnosed the single problem, ordered the specific part and within a week, and at a fraction of the cost of the other companies, I now have a fully functioning refrigerator and freezer! I would definately recommend Mike to anyone needing an appliance repair. We came home from vacation and couldn't pull put the freezer drawer. He was quick and knew exactly what to do. We were impressed.

Sub-Zero Hero We have a 25 year old Sub-Zero refrigerator which has often needed repairs and replacement parts at great expense. Initially the work was by "accredited" repair services, almost always nationwide franchises employing semi-skilled labor. Consequently, every fix we had was of short benefit and was often followed by some other problem. Finally, we found Mike at HQ appliances and have been extremely impressed by all his work. He has always responded promptly to call out requests, communicating arrival times by text. On different occasions he's had to fix both the Sub-Zero's freezer and refrigerator sections, replacing or, where possible, repairing items that were often damaged or incorrectly installed by prior repair workers. What's unique about Mike is that he doesn't just fix the immediate problem but also carefully seeks its root cause and fixes that as well to prevent recurrence. He's worked previously as a refrigeration engineer in petrochemicals and his skill and experience show. He's a meticulous and careful technician, so although he may spend longer on the repair, his prices are at the lower end of those made by so-called "approved" franchises. After completion, he sends follow up texts to check all is functioning as it should. Mike apparently fixes other domestic appliances, and we would certainly contact him should the need arise but from our repeat experience on our refrigeration equipment, he is outstanding, and we give him the highest possible recommendation

First of all, Mike made it to the appointment on time (Thats gotta be rare!) He was also very communicative as the appointment time approached, and provided an ETA. He would spend some time educating you (which as the professor I am, I appreciated that aspect) on how my fridge works, what could be a reason to the malfunction, and a few common troubleshooting tricks to use should the problem presents again in the future. I could also grasp what are some typical issues of my fridge, the parts that are more likely to break first, their typical lifetimes, and reasons why they break. So, very knowledgeable guy overall. In the end he also provided me with a detailed receipt which I needed to send it to my insurance company to get reimbursed. They also accept all types of payments as expected. For reference purposes, my fridge is an LG, french doors, with double-bottom fridge. In my case, I had already bought the part in advance, so I was only charged for the labor. If all their techs are as good as Mike is, contacting HQ should be a no-brainer for anyone looking to repair their appliances. Best to you all!

I am very satisfied with this business. My refrigerator wasn’t cooling so I called and he was knowledgeable about the brand and the issues that are common. He came the same day and fixed the issue. I cannot give enough praise about Travis, the technician, and the owner, Greg. Greg communicated often about appointments and arrivals. When issues occurred out of his control, he kept me informed continuously. He went to 3 different suppliers to get a part for a 20 year old freezer that was not really replaceable. Travis was knowledgeable and explained everything that needed to be done. He went over and beyond. Since I was having a party, he came over the weekend on his day off to complete the work. He would not even take a tip that was more than due. I cannot say enough good things about the excellent service I received.

Best appliance company I have ever dealt with. Honest. On time. Reasonably priced. Communicative. Went above and beyond to search EBay for a discontinued circuit board for my freezer, saving me thousands I’d needed to have paid to replace it. Bravo! 5 stars!!!!

Had an issue with my whirlpool washer and threw every part I could add it because it wouldn’t drain. I’ve used this company and spoken with Lucas in the past with a freezer so I thought I’d give him a call this time and told him what I had done and he gave me a couple of other things to test from a voltage and resistance perspective. Little detail detailed, but I have some tech experience and all of those came up OK Called him back a couple days later to let him know everything that was going on and we went through a couple more things and then he asked if my garbage disposal was new and if I had removed the plug to it, I didn’t even know that was a thing and Wala everything was good! If you’re looking for someone to almost fix your appliance, disappear for months, and then blame their wedding for not finishing the job—Alan’s Appliance Repair is perfect for you! It’s been nearly six months since Alan began “repairing” my refrigerator. Six months of back-and-forth nonsense, magical disappearing parts, and a never-ending stream of excuses. First, the parts were ordered. Then they weren’t. Then they were the wrong parts. Then they mysteriously existed again—but wait! Now we’re stuck waiting on a couple of clips for the freezer door (yes, clips!) that apparently take longer to arrive than a custom-built spaceship. And just when you think it can’t get more ridiculous—he blames his wedding. Seriously? I didn’t realize “getting married” was a valid reason to leave a customer hanging for half a year on a half-finished job. Must’ve been one hell of a honeymoon… maybe to wherever those clips are coming from? Bottom line: Alan is unreliable, unresponsive, and unprofessional. He’s great at one thing—wasting your time. If you want your appliance fixed this year, do yourself a favor: call literally anyone else.
