Best Freezer Repair Companies in Elizabeth, New Jersey

Make sure you know for a fact that you need a repair because as they state when booking you will be charged for the visit regardless. That being said I'm leaving this 2-star review because my feeling is if you know you can't fix something why come out and simply take money from people for nothing and call it business? The repairman basically called me, asked me what my issue was (which I already told the lady when I booked the service) and came out anyway. Before opening my freezer he told me I needed a new refrigerator. Now the reason I'm upset about that is because my thinking is you already knew that but you came anyway and pretended you "might" be able to fix it. All I'm expecting in a situation like this is transparency because I'm clearly in a time focused situation if I need to purchase a new appliance. So I had to pay $133.25 for a less than 10 minute visit when I was told $125 over the phone. This is money I could have used towards my new delivery and warranty fees on the new appliance I have to buy. In the future I just think if you know it's unfixable don't come because taking people's money for absolutely nothing is predatory in my opinion. I just want to warn future potential people before it happens to them.

Very professional the gentleman was very nice took care of my freezer and clean up after he finished. I will recommend this company.

Sam is very professional to handle all the refrigerator parts and explained the problems clearly. He did a great job to replace the control board and temperature sensor which were the problem with my freezer not able to functioning properly. He cleaned up everything after the work. I am very happy with his service!

My husband and I were in a bind with our refrigerator & freezer not working properly. Sam responded quickly and was here the next day to fix our refrigerator. He is quick & reliable and doesn’t overcharge for the work he does. He even gave us great maintenance tips to keep our refrigerator running for a long time. We really appreciated the timely/excellent service and will be calling him again for any other appliance or AC issues in the future. Don’t go anywhere else!

Technician certainly knew his stuff but have to admit I was a bit taken back on the cost. I felt the fee for coming out to my home was fair ($85.00 or so) but $200.00 for clearing out a clogged drainage hole in my freezer took me back. Nevertheless technician arrived when scheduled and did seem too bothered by my watching the repair. He also shared why simply trying to unplug the drain hole without the proper equipment be futile. He used a handheld steamer unit with an appropriate nozzle and temperature capability which appeared to do the trick. He also pointed out a part of the refrigerator that could potentially harm you if touched which was educational. Last, he cleaned the coils on the bottom of the refrigerator which to my knowledge had never been cleaned in the last 5-7 years. Granted, it only took about 30-45 seconds to clean, but hey, free always works. This is my edited version of my review because in hindsight I was a bit unfair in my assessment by not sharing all of aspects of the repair visit. I think I was still a little sour about the cost of the repair, but I can sleep better now knowing this version is shares a more complete picture. I had also questioned the number of perfect ratings noted in the reviews but am comfortable that the reviews are legit. BTW, the issue I had was water slowing dripping into the refrigerator compartment over time and fruits and vegetables freezing in the refrigerator as well (including my water jugs). Hopefully the repair done will remedy the problems.
