These guys are top notch. Extremely knowledgeable, responsive and efficient. My refrigerator and freezer failed a few days before my wife was due to give birth and Omar and Javier prioritized the service at our home late on a Friday night. They were also very fair with their pricing and thoroughly discussed several options for us to either repair or replace our unit. Technician was great and efficient. No complaints about his work. He fixed our freezer that was collecting water and freezing on the bottom. He did it in under an hour. When scheduling service I was told there is a $79 service fee that is waived with repairs. I asked for an hourly rate and they told me it is based on the job. In the end I was charged $280 for about 45 mins of work. My ice maker also needed to be replaced. They were slow to provide an estimate. By the time they did I found a YouTube video, purchased the part online, and fixed it myself for 1/4 of what they were going to charge. Good work not great, wouldn’t necessarily recommend them with so many options out there.

Great service. I had them fix the freezer for my tenants, and I could not be there. Oscar was very responsive, kept me updated along the way, and he had the freezer fixed before any other company would have even been able to get out there. Very reasonable cost as well. Will be my first call next time I need an appliance repaired.

Stay away. They don't know what they're doing and they have an "F" from the Better Business Bureau. We contacted Act Fast Appliance Repair due to our Sub-Zero refrigerator not keeping the temperature. They came out on a Tuesday, added freon and left. Within 24 hours, the fridge was back up to room temperature. They were supposed to show up on the following Monday to make further repairs, but were a no-show. The repairman, Jamie, showed up on Tuesday and said he found a leak and put sealant inside. He then left and the freezer stopped working as well. Instead of showing up on Wednesday, he called and said he wouldn't be there and refunded the money from the original service call. An authorized Sub-Zero repairman came out the following day and diagnosed TWO broken compressors, telling us that Jaime ruined one of the compressors by adding sealant to the line instead of replacing the heat exchanger and coil as recommended by Sub-Zero, As a result, we now have $3,000 in additional damages from Act Fast's incompetence and they are refusing to take responsibility. Beware of this company!

When a deal that seemed too good to be true on a KitchenAid refrigerator turned out to be just that, and the freezer went out, I called Act Fast. The first technician who worked on the fridge was sure he’d solved the problem, but when the freezer continued to fail, Act Fast sent a second tech out free of charge. Luis was great. He arrived on time, worked efficiently, and was conscientious about not gouging the floors while moving the fridge around. Most importantly, I could tell he knew what he was talking about when explaining the problem the freezer. He could easily have patched the fridge together and charged me a couple hundred for parts and labor while merely prolonging the inevitable failure of the compressor, but he instead explained to me why the fridge wasn’t worth repairing or sinking any more money into. Although the prospect of buying another fridge after only a month of use doesn’t thrill me, I appreciate Luis’s expertise and honest appraisal and can definitely recommend Act Fast for any future maintenance or major appliance repairs.

I’ve had these guys out twice. In 2021 I was in a pinch with a leaky freezer and they saved the day. In 2024 my fridge would sporadically turn off every few hours and they came to look at it two days in a row to trouble-shoot, they could have easily charged me for a new main board which would have been around $500, instead they had me shut off my fridge 3 hours before arrival on the second day, they did some stuff in the back of the fridge, and now it’s running perfectly. Also, before I decided to give these guys a shot I literally spent $1700 on a new fridge, and then figured I’d give Jaime a shot before scheduling the delivery, and now I can cancel my new fridge! It’s nice to know there are good and honest people out there. Act Fast is my go to!
