They came and determined I needed a new fan for my GE fridge which they told me was a horrible brand. They ordered it. They brought it out to install after I had to unplug and defrost the fridge for 2 days so they could get panel off. Trevor was starting to put the fan in from the freezer. I had to remind him that it was inside the back panel of the fridge. He thanked me for referring him to his notes. He put the fan in and cleaned a water line. He questioned wether he plugged in the fan before he left. He thought he did. Later that evening, the water line froze and the shelving was frosting up. I signed up online for an appointment the next day, on Friday. The office called Friday morning and wanted to schedule for Monday. I said they were out once already, I needed someone there today since I defrosted the fridge again so they could check the fan they just put in. I knew it was something to do with that. They 'squeezed' me in on Friday. I was reminded that I was being accommodated and no one could say it was the fan.Trevor had put the fan in upside down. Mistake, ok. But I was constantly reminded that he had to work late to fit me in. I was accomodated and there were 37 customers that were pushed back because of me. I said, I guess I should kneel down and thank you for showing up today. He accused me of belittling him. I was the one that was made to feel unimportant! And, it was his mistake. I was trying to get the point across that if I signed up online for Friday, why wasn't the appointment honored especially if it was done wrong the first time and it was their mistake. I wouldn't have minded the mistake if they hadn't made all the comments like I expected to much. Why should I have been made to feel bad about demanding that they fix what they didn't fix properly before! I already paid the bill. Just say, sorry, I'm glad we could fix this for you, it should be ok now I was told it usually takes a week for call backs. I was also told that he wouldn't sink too much money into this brand of refrigerator. It's 12 years old. My fridge had worked better before they came then after. I'm still waiting to see if it is working properly. The back panel that contains the rail to mount the shelving is now loose. He didn't tighten everything up. Nice. Now I have to deal with that. I won't use them again.

Great, knowledgeable, friendly, and prompt service. My new refrigerator's freezer door was not fully closing or sealing, and there were broken pieces in the bottom. Trevor found the root causes in no time, and checked every possibility to be certain. He helped me understand everything he was doing, and provided a great fix while the parts we on order. Once the parts arrived, Trevor followed up and got everything installed quickly and with great care. Andy's was great coordinating the repair, parts, warranty, and appointments. Picked Andy's because of reviews although I was skeptical on potential fake reviews. I think the reviews are likely legit but I do have one big red flag. I would also like to share I had a couple of conversations with the service tech manager who was very transparent and honest. The written diagnosis was a "locked" freezer fan which I knew was not the case. After a discussion with manager, he confirmed that it was written poorly, and the service tech had diagnosed a malfunctioning freezer fan. He also confirmed the tech was not "new" and a trusted resource. I asked if the tech had applied voltage to the motor as part of the diagnosis and he confirmed yes. Fast forward to trip #2 to install the new motor... it did not work. Troubleshooting more the tech found a bad resistor in the wiring harness and admitted he not only did not previously test the voltage; he also did not have the means to apply the correct voltage to test the motor. So the low rating s 90% about the lack or training or execution of an experience technician. The first thing you do to test a motor after checking if a motor is locked up is to apply the correct voltage to eliminate the power source as the reason. I eventually got to the "diagnosis" of one of my problems, but the biggest customer service miss is the lack of respect for the value of my time. Even if you don't agree with that there should be some sort of refund (not full), I would be hesitant to pick Andy's based on the fundamental tech mistakes. Good luck!!
