Our freezer freaked out yesterday. Had food thawing and water on the floor. Call 911 Service Today. Professional, clean, courteous, on time and spent a lot of time explaining what happened and how to prevent it in the future. Plus they did not try to upsell me on anything else. From here on out, I will be calling them for service. And suggest you do too.

Had them out to repair a refrigerator in my garage. It had stopped cooling and I looked at the normal parts, fan, compressor, etc. and decided to give these guys a call. The earliest appointment I could get was 6 days in advance but it worked fine for me because this was an additional refrigerator. The guy came out and realized it was the freezer that was the problem. It had frosted over due to a misaligned door. He defrosted it quickly, aligned the door and was finished. Didn’t try to sell me any extra parts or do extra work. Thankful for their honest approach. I will use them again.

I called, and they had someone come within the hour. However the rapid service costs more than regular scheduled call, but much worth not losing all my food in refrigerator/freezer. Jamie was professional, friendly, and honest. I will use their services again.

The company was very accommodating to get someone out first thing the next morning. My refrigerator/freezer stopped cooling and not only did the technician, Arik, show up to diagnose the problem, but was also able to do the repair on the spot.

I have waited to write this review in fear that it might be the kiss of death so I'll knock on wood while I do it. We have a very old, but originally high quality Kitchenaid built in refrigerator. It was actually built in 1998 in Michigan and is a beautiful appliance. A while back we noticed the freezer wasn't getting cold enough to make ice at a rate faster than my wife used it. We had two other repair services look at it, one of which replaced the defrost timer (which did not help) and the second guy said the compressor was shot but he did not have the expertise to replace it even though the part was available. The replacement cost for this refrigerator is about $11,000 and I just had a very difficult time throwing the whole thing away because of one or two parts. I finally called Aviv because they indicated that they have "sealed system" capabilities, which these other outfits did not. Joe came out and ran a couple of tests and diagnosed the problem (NOT the compressor) as needing a new evaporator, heat exchanger, and filter drier. When the parts came in, Aviv called to set up a time (they are very good about communications) and Joe came by and went right to work. I was extremely impressed by his knowledge and work ethic in that he didn't waste any time and got right after what was a pretty difficult operation. Once the fridge had time to catch up the freezer temp was minus 2 degrees. But will keep my fingers crossed still. One final comment to anyone who has bothered to read this: If you have a refrigerator or freezer problem, Aviv is the go to company (and Joe is great) because of their sealed system experience. Don't waste your time and money with the others. Very pleased with their work!

The freezer on our refrigerator / freezer stopped working. I asked our neighborhood who to call after a few google searches, and AVIV was recommended. I called, left a mesage, and had my call returned. Due to the tight schedules in today's world, I was told we would be worked in as the schedule allowed. We had a good amount of frozen items and began clearing the freezer and putting things in coolers and borrowing neighbor's freezers and things like that. During the process, we realized how much stuff we do not need to store in the freezer. Later in the day, I received a call that someone would be able to come by between 12 pm and 5 pm the next day. I got a call when the representative was on his way. During this time, a neighbor told me to unplug the fridge and let it sit then plug it back on, since the plug is behind the fridge, my wife recommended turning off the breaker. Ok, I'm getting long winded, the freezer apparently needed to be reset. When, the AVIV rep arrived, he ran his tests on the fridge and freezer after he listened to my story. He asked details of what we did and he took time to have a conversation. He explained what he was going to do and then after a period of time, I returned to the kitchen and he said it was working properly. He told me the newer models have components similar to computers and perhaps something needed to be reset. Too late to make a long story short, but he gave tips and then said to try a few things if it went out again. He said call with any issues and he would come back out as the schedule opened up. The bottom line, I think the reset may have fixed that issue, but AVIV called back, showed up and if we have appliance related issues going forward they will be the team we call. Thank you AVIV, I highly endorse AVIV and recommend them.

April 7th, 2025-Addition to my review. The freezer in my Thermador refrigerator stop working because the circuit board went. Carl was awesome. He diagnosed the problem, ordered the part, and was back a week later to complete the repair. He was professional, neat, took care of my floors by laying downs blankets and a plastic mat. Will use again if needed. Aviv uses a text communication service to confirm appointment, and keeps you updated on techs arrival so you don't have to wait around all day for your appointment. That's a big deal to me! Had Chad come out to service my Thermador Wall Ovens. He was professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. If I ever need an additional appliance repair I will definitely be using him.

Alex arrived on time for the scheduled appointment. He diagnosed the issue with the freezer and ordered the necessary parts.

Freezer was declining within one day and all food was taken out of freezer. Aviv was contacted this morning at 8:00 and technician, Alex was here at 3pm to diagnose. He was very professional, knowledgeable and gave us an honest recommendation. What I have to say is the communication from the front office was superb! They texted me right away this morning with a time 3 hour frame, kept me updated throughout the day on how many stops he had before me, and finally Alex called with a 15 minute warning. Very professional and highly recommend.
