Each technician that has come to our home to service of freezer has been respectful, knowledgeable, and kind. They have never left a mess behind, they have arrived when they say they will, and they have explained the work thoroughly. We have been very pleased with all of them at Atomic Tech.

Extremely please with Leon, he took care of our problem on a timely manner and gave us a quote on the spot. Very professional and took care for our freezer like it was his. Handled screws carefully so it would not damage the interior of the freezer.

Shawn was on time and very clear about our options. We are testing out the freezer now to be sure it works. Give us 48 hours.

The appliance technician showed up to check out my freezer without refrigeration gauges when I informed them there might be a leak. If Atomic Tech didn't have the ability to check freon or would not check if there was a freon leak then I should have been informed of that when I scheduled the appointment or before the service call. I will never call these folks again.

Horrible experience with our repair to refrigerator/freezer. Technician was knowledgeable and nice. The office receptionist was rude and not straight forward. Our whole refrigerator freezer was out food going bad this was explained to her. She did send technician out the same day. He found the problem, it was a simple part. He said he could not do it the same day as he was booked out. My husband called the receptionist and told her she did not explain that it would not be fixed on the same day! He told her our food was in coolers and would spoil by later the next day. She got extremely rude with him said they don't know if they can even get the part and they are overbooked for the day. My husband then asked her why would they even have taken our service call if they could not fix an important appliance repair on the same day. She yelled at him and hung up!!

In January of 2023 I called Mr. Appliance to look at my refrigerator that was erratically controlling the temperature in both the freezer and fridge section. They came out and determined that the freezer defroster s and controller was faulty. They came back in about four days with parts and repaired it. On October 11 I called them with the same issue. On October 18 they came out and agreed that the replacement parts from January had failed and it would be covered under warranty. I was instructed that it would take three or four days to get the parts so after four days unplug the refrigerator and let it defrost. Today is October 31 and I still haven’t seen them. I called them and was told that the parts will be here next Monday, 11/6 and they’ll be out to install them on 11/7. In summary, I will have been without a refrigerator for a month and have lost at least $500 worth of food. NOT ACCEPTABLE!!!!

Our fridge/freezer was not working and requested service. Quentin arrived quickly determined the issue and that our machine was 14 yrs old (we had just moved in) and that it would not be worth the $$ to repair and did not charge us after driving from Augusta to Aiken. He had time and gas expense and did not charge for the service. Don’t see that in these days. Thanks very much Quentin.

We called for a refrigerator repair. Water draining from freezer into refrigerator. Not cooling correctly. First man comes, he can only access the problem and take our charge card for the repair estimate. Several days later another man comes to make the repair. 24 hrs later I realize the refrigerator is not cooling and the freezer is starting to thaw. Two days later the 2nd man and a third arrives to correct the problem. Two weeks later we have started the cycle again. Wait for the first man to return and he doesn't. I call and the receptionist in a can informs me that they had called and rescheduled for 3 days later. So now we ait three days for them to may e fix it or i spend another $400 for someone else. Maybe just spend 1500 and get a new one. They called that's why I was asking where he was. Of course with all this waiting and so forth we have thrown a freezer full of meat along with many refrigerated items in the county dump. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. STICK WITH LOCAL BUSINESSES.

We have bought from Howard’s Appliance in the past and always had good experiences. This time I bought a used upright freezer. Sales person was very nice and freezer was delivered 2 days later. After install I noticed a strong chemical smell inside freezer. I throughly cleaned it multiple times and left baking soda in freezer hoping it would absorb smell. Several weeks later, smell was still noticeable and the worst part was the food I put in the freezer smelled terrible (chemical smell). So I ended up throwing the food out. I called and they tried to be helpful by offering to credit me the amount spent towards buying a new freezer. I appreciated that but didn’t want to spend an additional $500 for price difference of a new upright freezer. I asked if they had a small chest freezer in stock or could order (close the the same price I had already paid) for an even exchange, but nothing available. So now I’m stuck with a freezer we won’t use. Not sure if we will buy from Howard’s again. Just be careful if you shop here, especially if buying used appliances.

I PURCHASED A FREEZER & had a few problems with it ,but Chris Howard solved our problem & was very nice & quick to help us. His delivery man Fred was very nice & very helpful to us. Chris Howard repaired the freezer door on our refrigerator/freezer following the power outage caused by Helene. He was very thorough and courteous. His cost was very reasonable and I had no problem paying more than he asked because of the nature of the problem. He was a bright spot in the midst of a lot of negatives due to the storm.

My wife and I got a great deal awhile back on a 14 cubic foot upright freezer on a scratch and dent complete with a warranty! It is a Frigidaire and is still going strong. We are very happy with it and plan on purchasing a double oven the first half of next year. Howard’s seem to have everyone beat on prices. Friendly and very helpful staff.They have been around for a very long time and we’ll continue to do business with them.
